En: "Go ahead, say it," he replied encouragingly.
No: Han hadde alltid vært en god lytter.
En: He had always been a good listener.
No: "Jeg vurderer å flytte utenlands," sa hun sakte, mens hun så etter hans reaksjon.

No: "Vi støtter deg, Elin.
En: "We support you, Elin.
No: Vi vil alltid være her, uansett hvor du er," sa Sigrid, overveldende følelser i stemmen.
En: We'll always be here, no matter where you are," Sigrid said, overwhelming emotion in her voice.
No: Lettelsen flommet gjennom Elin, som om luften luktet friskere, sitrontrærne blomstret enda vakrere.
En: Relief flooded through Elin, as if the air smelled fresher, the lemon trees bloomed even more beautifully.
No: Hun smilte, trygg i vissheten om at hennes familie, hennes grunnfjell, ville stå støtt.
En: She smiled, secure in the knowledge that her family, her bedrock, would stand firm.
No: Sammen skålte de for hverandre – for nåtiden, for det ukjente og for kjærligheten som alltid ville være til stede.
En: Together, they toasted to each other—for the present, for the unknown, and for the love that would always be present.
