Sunil Narine: West Indies legacy

Sunil Narine has officially announced his retirement from international cricket as well as domestic List A cricket. He of course crowned the announcement with a Super 50 title and ended the 2023 tournament as the top wicket taker - how fitting. However despite Sunil being a global star in the game his West Indies legacy is a bit more complicated - we are a tough people to please both within the region and the wider diaspora.
