Emergency teams in Winston County checked out the Haleyville area, focusing on the pebble community along Alabama Highway 195 near County. Road 85. A shed took a hit and a vacant home had roof damage, but thankfully no one was hurt there. Meanwhile, in Fayette County near Barry, high winds might have flipped an 18-wheeler on Alabama Highway 13. Chief meteorologist James Span confirmed the driver walked away without injuries. Local emergency officials jumped into action right away. Michael Stoker from Fayette County Emergency Management was heading to the truck scene, but couldn't share more details yet. Assessments are still underway across the affected areas, as crews hunt for any other storm damage. So far, the impact seemed limited, with no injuries reported, and teens are keeping a close watch as conditions clear up.
