Stoicism, Stoic Philosophy, who started it?

About this episode

In this podcast episode, I talk about how I discovered Stoicism, and who started Stoic philosophy. There are only a few Stoics who lived over two thousand years ago, that are well known. Most of the quotes and writings are from Epictetus, Seneca, and Marcus Aurelius. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is probably the best book written by someone who practiced the Stoic philosophy. Zeno the shipwrecked merchant started the philosophy in Athens Greece, and is still practiced today.
