Steven Cartlidge

An ad placed by a decoy posing as a 13-year-old boy was placed on Craigslist. 43-year-old Steven Cartlidge responded to the ad and started a chat. He told the boy he would give him oral sex and sent him links to gay pornagraphic websites. When Steven arrived at the sting house, he struck up a conversation with the decoy. When Chris Hansen confronted him, he said he was simply going to talk and accused the decoy of initiating the sexual conversation. He also insisted that he didn't know the boy was thirteen. Chris then revealed that he has walked into a Dateline investigation.
