Stephen Graham Wins MOBOs TV & Film Performance Award

0:00On March 26th, Steven Graham took home the TV and film performances award at the mobos held in Manchester on Thursday night, March 26th. The event marked the first time the ceremony moved north to the co-op live arena. Graham earned the honor for his role in adolescence, a series that grabbed nine prime time Emmy wins last year. Stars like Olivia Dean, Little Sims, Coyne, and Jim Legacy filled the seats with Dame Denise Lewis and Whale presenting the category. They noted the strong field of nominees, including Aaron Pierre, Cynthia Erevo, and Damson Idris. In his acceptance, Graham called the win meaningful and shared it with his fellow nominees, asking for applause for them. He dedicated it to his dad and thanked his friends and family for their support. Hosted by comedian Eddie Coddy and rapper Eve, the night feature performances from IH, Flow, Miles Smith, Tiwa Savage, and more. Olivia Dean won Best Female Act, Flow took Best R&B Slash Soul Act, Ray Got Best Video, and Slick Rick received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
