Hoffman spent four seasons with the Cowboys, where he made 16 starts over his career. He played college ball at Virginia Tech. The Steelers lost starter Isaac Somalo to free agency, so they've been rebuilding depth. They recently resigned Jack Triscoll and Ryan McCollum to help shore things up.
