Steelers Sign 6 Undrafted Rookies

0:00On April 27, the 2026 NFL Draft wrapped up in Pittsburgh with a massive crowd of 805,000 fans over three days, smashing league records. Right after, the Steelers jumped on undrafted rookie free agents, signing six promising players to bolster their roster. These guys bring serious college experience. Devin Boykin, a cornerback from Indiana, started 10 of 16 games with picks and a sack. Dailin Carnell, Lionbacker out of Missouri, racked up over 170 tackles and five interceptions across 56 games. Meanwhile, Kevin Jobyty Jr., from Syracuse, adds edge-rush pop on the defensive line with double-digit sacks in his career. Lath Marjan, the kicker from Kansas, nailed 14 of 17 field goals last year, including a school record streak and went perfect on extra points. The tight-in duo is deep, too. Lake McGree from USC hauled in nearly 100 catches for over 1,000 yards and seven scores in 51 games.

1:03Shaman Metteyer, from Arizona State, started 30 games with 94 receptions, 14 touchdowns and even some rushing yards. Steelers fans keep eyes on these sleepers in camp. They could turn heads and make the roster cut when training starts this summer.
