Steelers Consider Trading Rudolph for Allar

0:00On April 29, Pittsburgh Steelers just snagged Penn State quarterback Drew Aller with their first third round pick, number 76 overall in the buy. 2026 NFL Draft That move has backup Mason Rudolph looking like he might be on his way out the door. Ian Rappepore from NFL Network dropped word that the Steelers are totally open to trading Rudolph now that allars in the mix and at least one teams, already showing interest. Rudolph's 30 years old and no stranger to stepping up big. Last season, he filled in for Aaron Rogers, throwing for 310 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. Back in 2019, he did the same when Ben Raffesberger went down early. Sources say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers want him bad, offering a sixth or seventh round pick in return. Steelers now face a call on whether that's worth banking on, rookie Aller or their own sixth round guy, Will Howard as backup. All hinges on Rogers suiting up again next year, which Pittsburgh's betting on this offseason.
