Steelers' Allar: Flacco-like Talent, Anxiety Concerns

0:00On April 30th, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in a foggy spot at quarterback right now. Any and so, they slapped a rare unrestricted free agent tender on Aaron Rogers, but no one knows if he'll actually show up. To shake things up, they grab rookie Drew Aller in the third round of the draft. The league folks are giving him mixed vibes. Word from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler says, the Steelers see big arm talent in Aller, like a young Joe Flacco. They're banking hard on coach Mike McCarthy to polish his footwork and turn him into something special. Pittsburgh would lose their minds if a LARP hand out like Flacco, who torch them for years with Baltimore. But not everyone's buying the Hype 1 NFL Personnel Balls called out Aller's performance anxiety, saying he processes well in practice, but fades when. The lights come on. Meanwhile, Aller sits as a project guy behind veteran Mason Rudolph and second year Will Howard on the Dept Chart. Keep an eye on preseason this summer.
