Start the Year Strong: Secrets to Win Your Year Before It Begins
About this episode
Life can be overwhelming and chaotic without a clear plan. People often find themselves struggling to keep up with the demands of daily life, feeling like they're always running on a treadmill without any direction. They waste time and energy on things that don't matter and never seem to get closer to their goals.
The lack of organization can lead to stress, burnout, and frustration. People can feel like they're constantly falling behind and never able to catch up. They may struggle with decision-making and find themselves constantly second-guessing themselves, which can lead to anxiety and low self-esteem.
An organized plan can bring clarity and direction to your life. When you have a plan in place, you know exactly what you need to do and when to do it. You can prioritize your goals, manage your time more effectively, and stay focused on what's most important. By having an organized plan, you'll be able to achieve more, feel more in control, and experience greater peace of mind.
Good organized planning starts with a question:
What is it that you want this year?
What are you really after and why?
Do you have a clear picture of what of what it is you want this year — in your relationships, your health, your finances?
How can we possibly blueprint and plan for our year, if we don't even know what we want?
Win Your Year Before Your Year Begins
This week we will discuss the concept and framework I use and teach for organized planning, and that is:
- winning your year before your year begins
- winning your quarter before your quarter begins
- winning your month before your month begins
- winning your week before your week begins
- And finally, winning your day before your day begins

Why is understanding your DRIVING FORCE so important to understand?
It is important to understand they are not goals nor merely desires, but profound needs that underlie and motivate every choice, every belief, and every decision we make.
Because they are the driving force behind any person's behavior, understanding the needs and the vehicles used to meet them, we will have a better understanding of why life is the way it is currently and more importantly, how to facilitate change.
