Stand Up For Yourself!

About this episode

Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever been made fun of, teased or bullied? That's a question I get A LOT when I'm speaking on stages to kids with Different Abilities.

In today's episode, I answer that question I get almost every time I speak. I will share the story of the first time I was teased for being different. I talk about how I handled it, how it felt and most importantly I talk about how grateful I am it happened! Yes, you read that right. I am very grateful for the experience! If it weren't for that experience I know for a fact I wouldn't be where I am today!

I encourage you to stand up for yourself. It's not an easy task, but it's so worth it and will help you grow as a person each and every time you do stand up for yourself!

Please remember:
It's not your disability, it's your Different Ability!
