About this episode
This week Jenny and Phil sit down with Kelly Slaven to discuss the Stages of Change. Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Working Supervisor and co-owner of The Haven Wellness Center in Dallas, TX.
It turns out change is hard. And, as the saying goes, "the only constant is change," thus this week's episode takes a deep dive into the Stages of Change, specifically how we can understand change and use these stages to have a more grace filled response to ourselves and to others.
In addition to breaking down the Stages of Change, Kelly reminds us that being a good neighbor means seeing people's hearts instead of their labels, discusses rediscovering joy as a pathway to that "feeling of your intrinsic self," and the many different ways we can return to our own sacred knowing.
"There's no wrong way to get back in touch with your divine sense of childlike joy."
