1:00We are going to give our upon further review. What did we think after we had a day to sit on it? We go back, we watch some more film, we watch some other games. How is that reflection going? And then third segment, we are going to get off the rails by, I am going to ask Daniel questions. I am going to say things. And he is going to say things based upon what we witnessed on Saturday and I am going to compare this team to no other team that George has had because I am going to ask him, could this team stomp other Georgia teams and things like that? But first Daniel, glad to have you back. You were in the stadium. You were there. I was there. You got to witness these unicorns which by the way, I am circulating monohorn is what I am circulating around. Unicorn just said, I don't like it. So the one horned ones is what a monohorn is. You think monohorn sounds better than you don't go, you are so weird clear.

2:01It doesn't sound better. It doesn't sound better. Is it? It is just a segment already because we may need to do a deep dive on the entomology of monohorn. But yeah, there is a lot of these guys. I was there on Saturday. We shared a lot of our thoughts together already. But let me just start here. I feel like you can't and I know this has been said. You can't learn anything for the positive from a game like this. You can't make takeaways and you can't say, well, we did this against Tennessee State and so that means XYZ. Okay. Case in point. Case in point you watched the Alabama game earlier in the day. You came away knowing a few things about Alabama. They are undisciplined, Nick Saban, and walked through those doors. They have a problem in the trenches and their offensive line is not solved. You knew that watching against inferior opponents. Daniel, that's the bad thing.

3:03That's the thing that you can learn that's bad. Exactly. You can't learn things on the good side. You can learn things on the bad side. That's the thing. And so what did we want to see from this team? We wanted to see what the playmakers were like on offense. Do we have guys capable of making plays on offense? Now, I maintain. We do not yet know who will be the big time playmakers. But we could have learned that there are not any. You see what I'm saying? We could have learned something on the negative side. So to your point, we had gone the other way. We would have, like Alabama, we would have learned some negative things. So the other side of the ball, do we have explosive playmakers in the past rush? Again, if we got stone walled by Tennessee State, that would have been telling. Yes, it would have been.

4:03So are we ready to say definitively this Georgia team is going to have 50 sacks? Are we ready to say definitively that this core of receivers, this Georgia offense is going to average 45 points in game. I don't think we're ready to say any of those things definitively, no. But we could have gone the other way. And so where we're at is there's a lot of hope for these areas that we've been holding on to all off season. The one area that I'll say, I'm not trying to start on a negative, because we'll get into, I'm sure many of the particulars. The one area I'll say that I don't think we learned anything about either possibly or natively. Okay. Is the secondary because what did we see? We saw, we saw one thing. I can tell you definitively this one thing. Okay. KJ Bolden is a good form tackler. Yep. So is Demelo Jones. Yes, so is Demelo Jones. We, yeah, we know some, but we didn't really learn anything about the secondary.

5:06I think it's not we can't see they make it clear. Jones got a lot of run. Got a lot of runs. We did see a lot of, we saw a lot of Kyron Jones. He got to start. We saw a lot of dink out there. So a lot of faces. We saw a lot of faces. And some name. And some freshmen, little John. Yes. I'll say little John. That was great to see. We didn't really learn anything about the quality of the secondary. I will say. That's my way to wear all the landscapes. I saw the other people. Can I get an arts school or what? They make amagens on offense 98. They make some biggestどう, like when you said you had glasses see the often wear their nails. You didn't see them. You didn't get pens. We had never closed a list, right? We have~) We are the electrons. on offense. I here is where people want to spend the majority of their time which we are fine doing because we have play and make. Thanks, Clint. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, this is feels so good. I said that Georgia was gonna have seven touchdown scored

6:07by seven different players. And I feel foolish in saying that. How dare you? Because they had nine touchdown scored by seven different players in this game. You short-changed them. I really, Nate Fraser screwed me by scoring three times in this contest. On four touches. Yeah, he didn't need the touches. He was Nate Fraser ruined my seven for seven. But nine touchdowns, seven different guys. This is what I expected. If you go back and you listen on Friday, this is really what I anticipated coming into the game. I think Georgia's gonna spread this thing around. And boy, did they spread it around? We saw it from obviously Red Del. We saw it from Prothrow. We saw it from Dandridge. We saw it from, Sycovy White Helton. We saw it from Talent Taylor. We saw it. Yep. From Elias Williams. We saw it from Lost and Lucky. We saw it from Ethan Barbour up and down the roster. Well, that's what I think is so wild to me.

7:07Is a lot of people, it's head said. The question that everybody said was, what are you gonna have now that branch isn't there? And it felt a little bit like Moneyball just for a hot minute. It wasn't your, you're not trying to replace them with another branch. You're gonna put them in an algorithm. You're gonna find the bases. You're gonna, you're gonna take what he did and spread it out. Sycovy White is going to be an absolute demon in the screen game. People, like just goes Talent Taylor. So it was Talent Taylor. And this game, there was nothing that we did that flipped to page two or three in the playbook under Bobo. There was one play on a nice little reverse in the round. A little action going there the way, little pop pass back over. That was, we did run that play off the screen. There was supposed to be a touchdown to Adele. But instead he hit Dandridge coming across the, it was like the second release on that play, Kut shout out to Gunner, because Bobo had set that play up with four or five screens. What you want in the exact same look. And he really thought he was gonna get Jane Radelle

8:10in the first half for a touchdown on that play. And credit to Nasty State, Jane Radelle was covered up and Gunner shocked and waited. But you're right, we didn't go deep into the playbook. Also shout out to the guy sitting in two rows behind me at Sanford Stadium, first play of the game. We want rerun a wide receiver screen to talent Taylor. He started screaming at Mike Bobo for calling the screens, fire Mike Bobo. I mean, like you can't script it. Clint, shout out to all of the Mike Bobo faithful out there who literally have nothing better to do with their time than complain about 12 yard gains. Like this is, this is what they're doing with their lives Clint. When they're not asking their mom what's for dinner, they're complaining about 12 yard gains that we're making on the outside, on the perimeter passing again. Y'all are diagnosable at this. It like just straight across the board, y'all are diagnosable. I have hotline numbers for you.

12:22Daniel, we saw a lot of good things. We saw things that weren't negative. We wanted to see explosiveness on offense. We wanted to see the offensive line be cohesive and move. People, the things that you and I wanted to see happen. We saw big names or big names. Gunner was efficient. He wound up being somewhere in between you and I. Kind of the don't sleep on. I said, don't sleep on Nate Frazier being so explosive that we don't need passing game and run game. That was also true, but then Kirby had no chill and Bobo didn't care. And Gunner's quarter and a half looked really good. I did not think he was going to get 17 passes in that quarter and a half. I just know my son looked at me and said, do you think Gunner will come back for half time, after half time? And that was midway through the second quarter and then the next series plugs was in. And I was like, oh, I guess there's our answer. We're going to come back to that in third segment. I do have a question on something. I think we did learn that wasn't a negative. I think there was a positive we learned on a subject. I think if you're somebody, it's a positive if you're somebody else. Yeah, that's true.

13:23We're going to get to that. Let's talk about some fair reasonable things. And I want to talk about the defense first. The defense was showing out on the pass rush. PJ Dean, little John. PJ Dean. Brother. Brother. PJ Dean. Sorry, I was about to voice my apologies. I didn't do it. When I want five stars everywhere in Kirby's smart, I don't trust him in his assessment of the guys that could come in and start day one. Oh, I'm interesting. You're missing out on guys like PJ Dean. It's who you're missing out on. They came in. Chris Cole looked like an absolute animal. Justin Williams is flying over the place. Daniel, what did you see that you can actually take away from witnessing what the defense did on Saturday? Chris Cole is a monster. He's a legitimate bonafide problem for SEC offenses.

14:26But that's boring. I want to talk about PJ Dean. He can flat rush the passing. He's going to be utilized. Yep. As a pass rush specialist, it seems this year. I also saw good things from Zayn Walker, a guy that we knew we were going to be very talented for him. But, um, Kamari book, Brooks, oh, oh, Kamari Brooks. Let me just tell you this right now. That's not, that's not the body of a true freshman. He's not, he doesn't look. Thank you. He's not right. No, proportionally, there's, there's certain guys that come in and with tenacity and great work ethic kind of getting it. And then there's guys that just stand in the field, dead fish, eye pan look at you. And you just know something's about to go down, look at that man.

15:28And that's what Brooks is. Kamari Brooks. He had to this defensive front seven. And I had to say, say front seven, Clint, do you know why? Because there's 23 of them. Like I'm not exaggerating. No. This defensive line goes about 12 dudes deep. And the linebacking core that stands behind him goes about another 12 dudes deep. There's about 20 to 25 guys in the front seven at any given moment that they might be on the field. And I just say great. Now I'm the Ogoco, he on the field. Sure. Fine with me. Did you, Haney? He on the five gosh, it's going to be fine with me. Again, we're not saying because they took over Tennessee state. It's what Kirby will say later about Radell that he's the the personification

16:34of development. Dude, sat and developed dude showed that we're saying the same thing. When we talk about these defensive guys, what we're saying is yes, they overtook Tennessee state, but it's how they did it with how moves with smarts with first. Explosiveness. Explosiveness. It wasn't just like that about Valdeness, why we need it. Infusion of some explosive this on the defensive front. Second, second series. I don't mean to to my second series. My dude 15 snaps a game already and I couldn't. Oh my gosh, he's going to be a monster. He is already a monster. There's so many guys. And I'm just telling you, don't get attached to one of them now. Now if it's Chris Cole, if you want to get attached to Chris Cole, go ahead. Like Raylon Wilson, if that's your guy, Elijah Griffin, if that's your guy, like Justin Williams, by the way, we haven't talked about him a lot. If that's your guy, you go ahead and get attached.

17:34Get attached because he going to be in my heart. He's on pretty yours. He going to be in there. But if one of your guys is one of these fringe guys, sure, they're going to have games. They're going to play and they're going to have games. But I'm telling you, he's going to have a game. He's going to have a game where he takes over. There's about 10 other guys competing with your guy to get some of those snaps. Do you remember? Do you remember that of previous years, Daniel? Do you remember that? No. He just didn't have it, Clint. We just didn't have the dudes. We had some guys that were great and we're glad they're there. And we were staff in Kirby and Glendon, incredible things with what we had. But we did not have these dudes because you know who's coming in on the fourth string defensive line. Go ahead. No, listen, the same guy that was coming in on the fourth string defensive line a couple of years ago, Josh Horton. This is the same guy. Glad he's here, by the way. He's still on the, yeah, because you know what he is.

18:36He's a heck of a lot better than he was two years ago when he came over for Miami. Yep. A heck of a lot better. So that's, it's not just that we're getting depth. The whole level is rising, Clint. It just continues to go up, up, up. And the talent that we're seeing, you brought in wave after wave and then you combine that with some freshmen that really feel like, again, this is not the fourth quarter. PJ Dean was on the field consistently in the fourth quarter when Kirby was given run. But that's when he was playing his traditional positions. Correct. And the first half of the game, he wasn't playing, he was just like, Hey, PJ, you have one job on this one, one, and it is to run forward until you tackle the ball carrier. It's the Zaden Walker treat that from last year. That Zaden Walker did explosiveness in a, in a very truncated count, but very effective.

19:42That's what PJ Dean did this year. He's, he's already showing out last year's Zaden Walker this year. That's terrifying. Ready. Negative yards rushing up until the third quarter couldn't get any. We were trying to get that quarterback killed at the end of the game. I don't know what to tell you. And the thing for me we did not look this way against inferior opponents the last two years. The last two years this was not something you and I saw at all from Georgia. And you could say well Kirby took his foot off the gas what do you really think Kirby changed his philosophy Kirby couldn't take his foot off the gas.

24:56Okay a drop on Paglis's first drive led to a field goal. A like bona fide drop. Ethan just that was the one bonehead play that he had all game. And then a holding penalty led to another not Georgia couldn't do anything but score touchdowns couldn't in this game couldn't do it. Daniel we couldn't keep our foot off the gas. It was in autopilot the entire time Kirby on that Tesla love going out there and just driving itself which is quite fascinating to me. We're going to talk about the third segment. I'm sorry you said we were going to talk about the third segment. I assume you're talking about backup quarterbacks. Let me is that what you were. Did you say is that what you mentioned. I want I want two things. I want two things that we're going to bring up that we knew. Okay Ryan Montgomery is the second quarterback on this thing. He's saying about the quarterback on this team and I hate this for pugs. I think everybody in dog nation hates this for pugs.

26:01This is going to sound so gimmicky and silly to say. Yeah. It's very hard not to assume that there is something about the catchability of the ball that he throws. I mentioned the drop. We know that he put he's been known to put a little heat on it when he needs to have a little touch right. That's been the knock on him is that he doesn't necessarily have the touch. Yeah. Well it didn't help anything that Ryan Montgomery came in and Clint he just. Drop one in to the bucket. I'm talking about being bagged toss in the best possible way like in the proper way. Did not hit the board. No. It's there is silence. There's no scraping of any sides of that. No sliding of any kind. It's just an absolute silence. Ryan Montgomery is the second best quarterback on this team.

27:02Yes he is. That's fact. I don't know if he will be the quarterback. When will we see that play itself out? George has only got one more cupcake. Now we think there's a chance we could be up big on our console but like. There's not many more weeks that we're going to see three quarterbacks play in the road. On the road in the SEC you are not going to see Ryan Montgomery come in in the third quarter or fourth quarter because noise, cadence, penalty, clock operation, where's the clock at? I can't see it. No, you don't want that. We could be up 35. We're still playing Gunner. I'm telling you this right now. When it comes down to it next year Montgomery will win this job. Yep. Right? I hope Gunner doesn't get hurt this year. That's all I'm going to say because. I don't think it will be Montgomery that comes in for Gunner if he gets hurt. No. It will be Paglizie. Correct.

28:02Don't like George's team if it's him. Paglizie puts the ball. It's a good mentality most of the time. But he puts the ball in bad situations thinking that his skill is going to overtake what's right in front of his face. It's PTSD. I know, but he's too much like Carson back. Bull. Ryan Montgomery sees too much like Carson back except he's more mobile than a late than a giraffe with a limp. And so Carson back was so bad. I just can't with that. We're going to be here all week long, all season long because George is back. They are fantastic. We have the talent. We have the skill. The past rush seems to be there. The passing game seems to be there. Playmakers forever. Brock Bauer is 2.0 and it's the mono horns are coming. The mono horns are coming. Tomorrow we're doing a position group deep dive. And I'm just going to tell you this right now. I'm going to be voting for the tight ends in the pre-production meeting that's who we're
