Stabbing Victim in Leytonstone Hospital

0:00On April 28th, a man in his thirties is recovering in hospital after a stabbing in Layton Stone last night, April 27th. It went down around 10.30pm at the busy junction of High Road and Catholic Road during what police call a fight. Folks dialed 999 right away, but when cops and medics rolled up, the guy had already bounced from the scene. He showed up at a local hospital on his own, shortly after, and they rushed him to a major trauma center. The Metropolitan Police say his wounds aren't life-threatening or permanent, which is a relief in these situations. No one's been arrested yet, and the streets around there got shut down to cars and walkers starting at 11.20pm for the initial search. Everything reopened about four hours later, minimizing the chaos for locals. Paramedics from the London ambulance service got the call at 11.06pm, sending an ambulance crew, response officer, and even a trauma team. From London's air ambulance, they arrived fast under five minutes, but had to track him down later for the transfer.
