Mr. Powers is a dedicated Global Issues teacher at St. Edward High School who makes a lasting impact inside and outside the classroom. He connects history to real-world events, encouraging students to think critically about their role in shaping the future. He also founded the school’s Film Club and teaches History of Chicago, giving students meaningful opportunities to explore culture, storytelling, and local history.
Mrs. Reed is a veteran teacher at St. Edward High School and has been a staple of the English Department for nearly a decade. Known for her incredible energy and love of books, Mrs. Reed excites and energies her students to read more and ask questions. She loves teaching High School students and feels incredibly thankful for her job and all the students that she has taught.
