SPC 033: Mars Attacks the Justice League!
About this episode
The Justice League has long been DC's premier superhero team, but it wasn't always a team full of DC's best and brightest. By the mid-1990's, the Justice League and been largely reduced to a string of B and C-list heroes. But in 1997 DC Comics looked to change all of that by bringing in legendary writer Grant Morrison to revitalize and relaunch the Justice League in the form of the new "JLA" ongoing series along with artist Howard Porter. As the world anticipates the release of the #SnyderCut, Marc and Remso look back upon the first story in this run, as the JLA faces a mysterious group of "heroes" who have come to "fix" the Earth. But of course...not all is as it seems with this new group, and it takes DC's top best and brightest heroes to figure it all out! Move over C-listers...the real JLA has arrived!
