Spandau Ballet Singer Jailed for Rapes, Sexual Assaults

He performed under the stage name Ross William Wilde and had roles in Big West End shows like We Will Rock You. Courts nailed him for attacks on six different women spanning from August 2013 to December 2019. His convictions came from two separate trials, one in July 2024 and another last January covering two rapes and attempted rape, three sexual assaults and two voyeurism charges. Prosecutors pointed to videos from his phone showing patterns of him targeting sleeping women and he claimed everything was consensual, but the juries didn't buy it. The victims, who trusted and cared for him, delivered powerful testimony that sealed the deal, with five showing up to the sentencing at Wood Green, Crown Court.
