Spain Today - Friday 26 January 2024

About this episode

In Spain Today we have a plane joker accused of bomb threat by British security services acquitted, secret cigarette factory found by the Guardia Civil on a burglary call, airport parking for motorbikes is a thing, water levels increase again, albeit slightly, and a warning that some older television sets might not work in a matter of weeks.

The statistical week ends in Spain with the Labour Force Survey for the fourth quarter, from which we will get the current unemployment rate in Spain, as well as with the data on contributory pensions for January. Outside our borders, the main reference will be the PCE index for December in the US, as well as the GFK consumer confidence for February in Germany.
