South Carolina Softball Stuns A&M in Series Win

0:00On April 30th, South Carolina softball squad just snagged a huge two games to one series victory over the number 11 ranked Texas A&M Aggies. Right at Beckham Field this weekend, they kicked it out strong Friday on senior night with a 3-1 win thanks to senior pitcher Joy Hurts complete game domination striking out. 6 and holding the Aggies to just one run after a three run homer from Natalie Heath in the second. Saturday turned into a pitcher's duel, but Texas A&M edged them out two to one, with Emma Freedell fanning nine in a complete game effort that kept it. Close until the end. Sunday's rubber match stayed tight at one all, until the bottom of the seventh, when walks to Quincy Lillio and Tori Inzli plus a throwing error on. Carly Shelton's bun.
