On March 17th, a 27-year-old aspiring singer, named Soria Berry, died in a car crash with a double-decker bus in East London on February 8th, 2025, just before 7am. She had dropped off a friend and was driving down Leah Bridge Road when her vehicle veered into the stationery bus, accelerating from 23 miles per hour to 35 in the final moments. The crash happened only days before she was set to meet with Apple Music about releasing her R&B tracks. In a tribute, Apple Music now plans to put out her songs after her death. Her family spoke of the heartbreak, including a two-hour delay before she reached the hospital, even though her mother arrived first after police. Picked her up around 8am. They also slammed social media trolls for posting videos of her getting CPR online, which her 13-year-old sister saw, making their grief even worse. When inquest found she was a careful driver, under the drink drive limit, but possibly distracted with no evasive moves for three seconds, she hit the accelerator instead of

the brake and wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Her death came from internal bleeding and severe liver damage. While some bystanders filmed the scene, others rushed to help, and her loved ones remember her as loyal, fierce, and full of life, someone whose music, and spear will live on.
