Let's talk to some people. All right. We're going to do five index players. What we want to know is we want to know they're in the fairway, and they're going to be at three different distances. They're going to be at 40 yards, 100 yards, and 180 yards. They hit their approach shot, and it hits the green. They hit the green.

2:02How close does that ball need to be for them to break even on Stokescane? Right. So what's the tipping point when they're actually getting an advantage? What's the tipping point where they break even? They get to 0.00 Stokescane on that shot. For five index. Five index from the fairway. The ball hits the green, so the ball's on the green. How close does that ball need to be? So what's the proximity of that shot in feet from when they are 40 yards in the fairway, 100 yards in the fairway, and 180 yards in the fairway? Where do they break even on Stokescane? This will be a good one. I'm excited to see this one. Five index. Five index. Yeah. Five index player. Pretty good player. Really good amateur player, top 10% kind of player. I think I'm there. All right. I think I'm crossing out going on, but I've got one in the end. And this will be because there are three separate questions in here.

I'm 45 feet. I'm 48. So apart from the first guess, we're right next to each other there pretty much.

5:04Very good. I'm nervous for the last one here. The last one. Mark said 45 feet. Greg said 48 feet. And the answer is 90 feet. Oh, yeah. Wow. Not even close. Greg. Greg with the win, though. Can I borrow your horse, please, Mark? Yeah. Send over those. The trotting is over. 90 feet. 90 feet. Yeah. 90 feet. Which is hard. Like, you don't... There's just not many greens in situations set up where you can even have a 90 foot pot. It's just... It's really hard for that to happen. The pin has to be tucked somewhere. Has to be a bigger green, typically. Like, so, you know, 180 yards out. If a five index hits the green at all. Like, you've had a wonderful shot from 180 yards. Every golfer knows the feeling. Which is unbelievable, isn't it? A five index is hitting. Like there will be five indexes actually hitting seven ions from that distance. Like they will be hitting a seven. Yeah, definitely. And I can't agree with it. I'd love to interview the five index and ask them what, because my experience playing with people like that is the expectation from that yardage is dialed in. You know, like in reality they get it on the green. It's a result. Yeah, I can tell you from the weekly newsletter that I send out, where I typically I have a quiz in the newsletter like this. I ask questions each week and I give them options multiple choice. I do it every week. Yeah, that's why you were winning all the time.

8:05And now he's the, now the truth. Nobody sits by their inbox just waiting for that more than me. Lovely. Lovely. But the answers are always, I oftentimes make the answers, you know, I want to say relatively obvious. And in some people have picked up on the pattern where a lot of the times it's just, you know, it's the least obvious answer. And that's the correct answer. And people will email me and say, you got to stop this. Because it's obvious to me what you're doing here. And I just pick the, you know, the worst answer of the bunch. And that's usually the right one. But the percent of people that still get it wrong is astounding. Like they still get it wrong because the, you know, the, the myth out there of what you should do and how you should perform. And the expectations of people have are just, just completely not realistic. Well, I think a thing is that aside from like your own egos when you play golf

9:08and your expectations based on that one time that you did something really well. And therefore now you do it, you think you do it like that. We've been told for years just at the professional level when you listen to golf and watch golf. These guys are going to hit this into 10 feet. You'll be disappointed if he doesn't do this. Like the commentary has built around the 0.0 percent of whatever that gets something done. You know what I mean? Like it's, it's incredible. And I think people extrapolate that potentially to their own games. Aside from, you know, an honest assessment sometimes of just your own performance is not fun for a lot of people. Yeah, it isn't fun. It isn't fun. And I think the stats show that when some people do stats are one of their first comments to me is, I can't, this isn't right. This isn't what I like. They don't see the positive. Sometimes they think I don't want to see that anymore. Right. Well, they don't even want to enter the bad ones and stuff like that. Don't enter the bad rounds. Don't want to enter the bad rounds. Oh, yeah. That's really cold. It is so, it is very common.

10:09Like I deal with that with some of the elite players that I work with where they do not want to, like I look in their stats because we're going to talk about them in review. And they're, they're missing some rounds. And I would, what, and they don't like to enter their bad rounds. They only like to enter their good rounds and look at the good numbers. Yeah, right. Yeah, very common. When in reality, the bad ones are ones we would potentially learn the most. Yeah. We want, we want all of them in there so we can understand everything. Good and bad. And there's a lot of people that don't want to do that. They just want to, they only want to focus on the good. Yeah, absolutely. Interesting. There you go. Nine feet. We were way off there, Greg. You had a good one. But that would have been taken some serious, like, gumption to be able to say, oh, 89 feet, you know, as a guest. Right? Yeah. I do remember looking at that. Now he says that. I mean, I say, I remember looking at these numbers and being blown away at how far away some of them were when you got me at the top end, even from, you know, five indexes.

11:11Five indexes is a good player. Yeah. Like if you say you're five, you're going to be lower than most people. You speak about golf too in the street or at a party or something. Ninety feet. I wouldn't be surprised if that 45 feet, if that was tall. Some, yeah, like Torpro. I think it is. I reckon that probably isn't far off. I don't have it in front of me, but that's pretty close. No, I think Greg one day. I don't think anyone really. Yeah. No one would ever class that as a win today. Some lose. I don't think so. I would. No, I'm not sure anyone would do that today with those.
