Coming up at 10 o'clock, it's uncancelled on KCMO talk radio right after Pete Mundo and Mundo in the morning. 649. Good morning. 80s. Great to have you here on a Thursday on KCMO talk radio. We have Billy Idol tickets coming up at 715. He's at Morton Ampitheater coming up next Wednesday. So don't miss that opportunity 715 on our show and then with Keatsman coming up at 1045. Let's do it. It's time for the 6 at 6 on KCMO talk radio. Number one, well, let's start with some fun here. NFL season got underway last night and it's the Seahawks as they unveiled their championship banner. One at home 13 to 10 in front of the home crowd beating the New England Patriots and that Super Bowl rematch.

It was Mizzou's own Drew Locke coming in on behalf of Sam Darnold who got injured early in the game and had himself a pretty solid night. 16 of 2287 yards. It touched down. He looked good. No interceptions. No fumbles. That was the biggest part. Yes. Well, drink it away. Yeah. And Drake May had three picks in the fourth. Yeah. Do we think Drake May is actually any good? No. I think he's on 12 against teams of winning records or something like that. Not in the playoffs though. No, he won a couple of playoff games. Yeah. You mean in the regular season? Well, here's how it works in the NFL, right? They want great parity. So if you get to a Super Bowl, your schedule the next year is very difficult. So we'll learn a lot about Drake May this year when they take on an elite schedule in the NFL and they're O and one already. I think it was a sixth tarnished this year. Six most difficult. I think they ranked it. Oh, yeah. That makes sense up for my think about the easiest one last year.

Yes. They did have a very easy schedule last year, which was criticized. All right. So they're O and one see Hawks or one or O. And tonight we have a game on Netflix from Australia. Melbourne is where the 49ers are going to take on the Rams to 735 kickoff. So if you want to check out that game, I won't be because we have boycott in Netflix. So I'll have to listen to Mark give me updates on the group chat. Let me know what's going on in that one. I won't be watching it. But it's happening tonight. Rams are a three and a half point favorite. Maybe there's some action I can watch tonight. I have to check that out. It's got to be some college football somewhere, right? Miami's like a 56 and a half point favorite against whoever they're. There might be some action. I got night to a Trump number two. That's where I'm going next. R&C midterm convention. Day number two in Dallas takes place tonight. Trump is going to speak again. That is going to happen at about 838 45 central time is when he's expected to take the stage.

So that'll be taking place tonight's midterm convention night to end Dallas for the GOP. The first ever midterm convention happening this year. And you know, is it ultimately going to be a big win? I don't know if it drums up the base a little bit. I guess that could be a victory going into the midterms. But I know it would drum up the base a lot more. And that is $2 gasoline. So let's see if we can get back to that. Number three. All right. Let's bring it back to Kansas City. Where four people are facing charges in connection with a deadly shooting at a Kansas City quick trip. Clay County prosecutor or Zachary Thompson announced the charges on Tuesday of this week. Brandon Lemoine, Robert Martin the fourth. Caitlin Sharp and Michael Moore. No, not that guy. Have all been charged with second degree murder armed criminal action and first degree attempted tampering. Three are in custody and Moore has not yet been located shooting happened before 10 p.m. on Labor Day at a quick trip in the area 500 Northwest Anglewood Road officers responded.

And they found a man who was unresponsive who had been shot near a vehicle in front of the store. He was pronounced dead at the scene and identified as William Anderson who was 45 years old. So four people have been charged and the arrests are underway number four. Next up we go to a man hunt law enforcement officers in Weston have arrested the man at the center of Tuesday's hour long man hunt. Michael A. Hall 37 located and taken in the custody without incident at about noon yesterday. This came after authorities received information that he was at a residence in Weston and arrest warrant was issued on Saturday after he allegedly fled from a traffic stop causing injuries to a police officer in Weston. A SWAT team spent a part of the day on Tuesday surrounding a home hours later law enforcement determined he was not in that house. Law enforcement told Channel nine that whole may have left the city or went hiding in the woods and then schools in West plat in the West plat school district closed for the day due to that law enforcement presence in the area.

So Weston residents who were near the home during the standoff were surprised saying of course incidents like this typically are not happening up that way. But the search for Michael A. Hall resulted in this hours long standoff local school closures and the man ultimately has been arrested. So there you go on that front and don't have to worry up there anymore in Plac County after a bizarre couple of days number five we go to this story. Mantel's police he set more than 30 fires at a vacant east can't a city Missouri apartment complex police arrested Kovone Allen 26th of Casey Mo. This week at the vacant complex after a burglary call a witness told police he saw a man with a yellow backpack enter one of the buildings at the complex. He surrendered to police and spontaneously uttered to officers he knew he was not supposed to be inside the apartments according to a court document.

So he told police he knew he wasn't supposed to be there he admitted he had been staying at the complex since winter time and he also told police he spray painted messages on the walls and he used methen fentanyl. So not a not a good situation there but a man is in custody after setting more than 30 fires at the vacant olive park village apartments near east ninth and olive streets in Casey Mo number six and next up an update on these maps. US district judge Stephen Clark late last night denied an emergency request to pause his order requiring Missouri use its 2025 congressional map this November. So now things are likely going back to the US Supreme Court as the group that wants to see the former maps in place to Missouri which would be good for a manual cleaver and the Democrats they're now making that appeal to the US Supreme Court. So we will have to wait and see how that plays out I think as of right now the new maps are back in place but this could change at any moment.

It'll be up to Brett Kavanaugh and why Brett Kavanaugh because he oversees cases coming out of Missouri. There's your six at six.
