I thought he came out quite cautiously, but as soon as he settled into his dried Yannick center took control from the baseline, just looked impressive. The whole way through the match, we had Shapo complaining a little bit about some foot faulting, but it didn't really change what happened in the match, and I don't think it was ever going to go

And he's through into the fourth round, and going through into the fourth round isn't easy in Dean Wells, but it's a little bit easier once you have a buy through the first round, second round, knocked out Sochina, and not dropped a set yet. Obviously, we looked down there, he lost in Doha to Yakumensik, looking to get himself on a big run of wins, and looking for the title here at Indian Wells for the first time in his career. But there is a big young competitor who's going to be in his way, and somebody who's definitely back to form. It's Zhao Fonseca, and it's one of the best matches he's ever played in his career. And he beat Tommy Paul, six two, six three to reach the last 16 at Indian Wells. What

3:37performance this was from the young 19 year old. This is what we've been sort of building him up, building him up. There's been a lot of hype. He's had some injuries. He's been going out early in a few tournaments, losing to some lesser opposition. But when it clicks, it just definitely clicks. And it's the pure aggression on a court that is what the fans come out to watch. He's very, very decisive. And the way he puts the ball away, some delicate touches in there too. He had the odd drop shot there. And that's the beauty. If you hit so powerfully, regularly in a rally, your opponent is normally further back behind the baseline. And it does open up the opportunity for a few little droppies. And he did that, finished the match in under an hour and a half. And an hour and 22 minutes was the final amount of time it took. And it was a statement performance. And the

4:38Brazilian reaches his first masters 1000 round of 16 and sets up a match with Yannick Sinner. It's not been all plain sailing for him through the tournament, though. Collignon was a good win in the first round, took out the Belgian. And then it came a Kalen Hachanov, been in some good form of light. But this just goes to show how good Fonseca's playing that he was able to get that done in three was able to go the distance was able to push himself, push his body. And I think that put him in good stead to take on Tommy Paul. We got his confidence up. Be somebody who's a very, very well established player on the tour in Hachanov. And then took on an even bigger test in Tommy Paul in America. And did it in absolute style. Now the test only gets harder. It's Yannick Sinner. It's the number two player in the world. And probably no better time to play Yannick Sinner. Or

5:42worse, I don't know which way would you look at it? Do you think it's a better time to play him? Because he's on a bit of a bumpy ride right now. Yannick Sinner. Or because of the couple of losses he suffered early this season, does that make him that much more dangerous? He can't afford to lose again. He has to simply win. He needs to get that air of invincibility back, which was there for pretty much the whole of last year. Bar a couple of matches against Carlos Alcarez. Let's get a prediction in them for this one, because it's going to be really, really competitive. It's the first time they've ever played as well, which makes it even more exciting. Which way will it go? We know that Fonseca's playing well. But Yannick Sinner is playing as well. Maybe if not better, I would say he looked composed. He's been in the big matches before. I think Fonseca, the only thing which may unsettle his game that he had against Tommy Paul in

6:46this next match will be the nerves. It's not the same type of matchup. It is against somebody who, if you do beat them, it's sort of a bit more off to the races. Everyone's going to be putting his name in the picture and saying, oh, be in Yannick Sinner. Can he be Alcarez next? That type of thing, but if he doesn't, then it's just pretty much business as usual. Yannick Sinner got the win like he was supposed to. I do think Yannick Sinner is going to get the win. I don't think it's going to be as easy, though, as some people may think. I think that Jalf Fonseca will give a really good show-in. I think the first set may even go to a tie break, but I think Yannick Sinner will take in a tie break and then probably a 6-3 or 6-4 second. But that's just my prediction.
