And now to the news in no particular order. San Jose based Alvia, a workforce services platform backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, has acquired

HR Palace, a Los Angeles-based provider of outsourced HR administration. The acquisition aims to expand Alvia's integrated national platform for HR compliance, benefits administration, and workforce strategy solutions. Another one. The Trump administration is launching the early career talent network to recruit Gen Z workers into the federal government, seeking to bridge a generational workforce gap and compete with the private sector. Officials plan college campus visits to fill roles in finance, engineering, and management. Another one. And indeed, Flex Survey reveals 30% of US and UK retirees are open to or engaged in flexible work, typically under 20 hours weekly. Key motivators include rising living costs and insufficient savings, alongside desires for social interaction and productivity. Popular sectors include retail and consulting. Another one. Boston-based recruitment platform Clasp raised $20 million in the series B funding.

This brings total funding to $180.8 million. The company, which focuses on talent retention and student debt reduction, will use the capital to expand operations and development alongside new healthcare customer partnerships. Another one. Origin raised $30 million in series A funding, led by Notion Capital, to scale its AI-native global benefits platform. The company uses its proprietary AI Kuido to consolidate fragmented data, providing multinational organizations with improved visibility, cost control, and efficiency and workforce spending. Another one. Seattle Bay startup Atheon raised $1.24 million in seed funding to develop its skills operating system. The platform uses a proprietary taxonomy to help job seekers, including veterans and graduates, translate real-world experiences into verified professional profiles for employers. Proceeds will support beta testing.

Another one. A monster survey reveals that 67 percent of 2026 graduates prioritize job security over higher pay due to economic and AI concerns. Many are willing to compromise on ideal roles, valuing long-term stability and immediate income over rapid career growth or status. Beginning June 22nd, 2026, LinkedIn will require all live streams to be scheduled in advance, removing the option for spontaneous broadcasting. Users can still schedule events, minutes before starting, the change aims to increase discoverability, maximize audience engagement, and improve platform efficiency. Another one. Back in AI, a post-training data startup raised $25 million in series A funding led by A9-1 partners. Headquartered in Mountain View, California, with operations in India, the company provides expert-led model evaluation and reinforcement learning services for major labs like Google
