Shooting After Fight in Tuscaloosa

Police in Tuscaloosa, Alabama are looking into a shooting that happened Sunday, March 15, in the Colonial Hills neighborhood. It went down around 7.20pm on the 500 block of 30th Avenue, Northeast. Offersus from the Tuscaloosa Violin Crimes Unit took over the case after the initial response. They pieced together that it started as a physical fight between two women. Bystanders got involved in fired shots during the altercation. One man ended up with injuries that are not life-threatening. He received treatment at the scene, and is now in stable condition. No other injuries were reported. The investigation continues because officials have heard conflicting stories from witnesses. They are still gathering more details.
