About this episode
Get ready for one of the best episodes we've had to date on the Cam and Strick Podcast. Shayne Corson, not only does he have the coolest spelling of the name Shayne, this guy was an absolute warrior. Corson played hard on the ice and apparently went almost as hard off of it. You'd never know it though, this guy brought it every night and was a player you wanted on your side. His former teammates absolutely rave about this guy. An NHL veteran of 1156 career games, Corson was the Captain of two NHL franchises. He could bury you with a hit then go out and score a goal on the same shift. He'd also go toe-to-toe with some of the toughest to ever play in the league. We dive into all of that and then some in this episode. From playing in Canada Cups to being teammates with Wayne Gretzky to overcoming serious personal adversity. Corson saw just about everything over the course of his career. How was he able to overcome some of his personal issues? No stone was left unturned in this edition of the Cam and Strick Podcast.
