Shaw's Injury: United's Busy Schedule

Luke Shaw had to leave Manchester United's match against Crystal Palace early on Sunday after a rough challenge from Daniel Munoz. The collision happened midway through the first half, and Shaw was subbed off in the 24th minute with what looks like a left foot injury. United were already down 1-0 at that point. Shaw had been on a hot streak, making his 28th straight Premier League start. His longest run ever in the top flight. A lighter schedule this season has helped him stay fit, but this contact injury ended that consistency just when United needed him. The injury hits at a busy time, with new castle away on Wednesday evening, followed by home games against Aston Villa and others.
