Shane McMahon gone from WWE; CM Punk suffers first loss in AEW

Shane McMahon has reportedly been let go from WWE after chaos ensued backstage at the Royal Rumble. Any and all future plans for McMahon to perform at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 38, have now been scrapped.
In the meantime, CM Punk suffered his first ever loss in AEW. He was defeated on Dynamite by MJF, in Punk's hometown of Chicago. Was MJF the right man to hand Punk is first loss?
