Shaine March: Life Sentence for Murdering Girlfriend

March had been out on license since 2013, following his conviction for killing 17-year-old Andre Drummond at a McDonald's in South London back in 2000. He admitted to the second murder during his trial after his defense fell apart. Members of Alana's family watched the appeal hearing as March spoke to them via video link from prison and express regret. The couple had been together just four months in a relationship marked by his controlling behavior and prior attacks on her.
