Glorifying the denial of sex as 'authenticity' has detrimental impacts on all sexual orientations and begs the question of the role of the body in being human.   

Joey Brite is a feminist, lesbian and lifelong gender outlaw. She is the creator of Can I Get a Witness, an educational platform designed to give a voice to those who are shaking up the status quo.
