Sex and Religion with Rachel Halder

About this episode

Listen in to hear us discuss sex, religion, puritan culture, neuroscience, shame, sacred sex, and a tool you can use to help release shame around sexuality.

Rachel Halder is deeply influenced by the sacred and the sexy, believing that embodying our sexual selves can be a sacred, spiritual, and activist oriented act. With an MA in Religion, concentrations in Sexual Ethics and Embodied Spirituality, Halder's studies and work focuses on holistic trauma healing for those marginalized or spiritually traumatized through sexual abuse, LGBTQ identification, or general sexual suppression from purity culture in the Christian church. Halder is a student of Layla Martin's 600-hour Integrated Sex, Love and Relationship coaching certification at the Tantric Institute for Integrated Sexuality, incorporating Taoist and Hindu tantric philosophy with neuroscience and embodied trauma healing into her studies, programs, coaching, workshops, and retreats.
