Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And you know, I want after a while we're talking about you and what you bring to the table, just to continue to encourage everyone to keep going. Even when things don't look like you want them to look keep pressing, that's how we're able to celebrate our six year anniversary because we all Selena, if I would have made any type of error, I'd be like, oh, I'm sorry. So I'm going to let you tell us what you would like to share with us about that I may have not said in the video. Like making a fun fact about you soon. Fun fact about me. I have a daughter. She's five years old. I am utterly obsessed with her. And when I was younger, I really admired my mom. I wanted to be just like her. She was very, she was a career woman. And she was always typing away. And you know, I'd see her do her faxes and do her letters. And I always wanted a book of stamps and all of these things. And in the same way, I see my daughter kind of, you know, taking after me in a lot of ways with like the content creation and entrepreneurship and the shopping and all the things. So fun fact, she's

6:28just like me when I was. You got me there. Yes. And I love that for us. I love that for y'all soon. And I know that's so exciting to be a new mom and in love with your baby. And especially if she's, you know, coming up to me just why do you like what else is to be better and to have a mini mean? Yeah. Because if you had, if you were all girly and she was a time boy, you'd be like, oh my goodness gracious, this is the most difficult thing. I'm trying to girly her up and she wanted to use it. Girl, we got a long life ahead. So we'll see. But I like, I love where we are today. I think it's so cute. I love that too. I love that too. So I know that there's so much going on in the world and so much noise that we can't sometimes hone in on the things that I guess God has given to us. Yeah. So and you built a brand and continuing to build a brand,

7:29floral brands. What stands out about the elite? You know what? The elite society was birthed from a place of need. So in 2021, I was in this interesting space. I just moved to a new city and I didn't really know anyone. And where I used to, you know, I come from my hometown. I used to have girlfriends. I could, you know, grab coffee with, go out with that. We're also entrepreneurs. I didn't have that in this new city. And so I kind of embarked on a journey of connecting like minded women. I started out doing a lot of coaching calls at that time. And these were women from all over the country. And by the end of our coaching call, they're like, I wish there was a woman like you in my city. And I'm like, you know what? After like the third or fourth time of me hearing this, I'm like, there are women like me in your city. You just don't know them yet. And so I created the elite society as an opportunity to connect like minded women from all over the

8:31world. So women who at that time, we were focusing, focusing primarily on entrepreneurship. But now we're talking about motherhood. We're talking about faith. We're talking about relationships and what those different dynamics are. And so we're connecting women. We have a community of over 250 women worldwide. And we are continuing to grow. We have our, the PowerPoints tour that's happening this fall. So we're going to different cities. This will be our third tour so far in the last few years since we've launched. We're going to different cities and just empowering women, giving them resources, giving them insight, giving them encouragement. And most of all bringing a sense of community. The thing that has stood out to me the most is, you know, growing up, girls weren't always that nice. You know, they had the mean girl squad. And you can't sit with us and those sort of things. But I've come to understand most of that was inundated because of media, because of what the movies and the TV shows were pushing. But a lot of women, as we grow up and we go through different things, start to soften, you know, and we realize we do need each other. We do

9:34need community. We do need our village. And so that's what the purpose of the elite society is, is to bring those women together, those women who do want that prayer partner, who do want that accountability or just someone to hang out with. You know, we do a lot of different events where we're just together. We did just did a gallantime day event. We're getting ready to do a scrapbooking party. So just bringing women together so that they can have the comfort of womanhood with the connection and the faith and the love that we all can bring in a room. Yes, thank you so much. I was trying to put, I'm so less tonight. She puts the rest up there, but you know, that is that's so amazing and so true. I know that I'm in a new place. I've been here almost three years and I felt the same way. You know, I wish that there were people and you are correct. There are people there. You just don't know them yet and not have in these last few months started to meet those people. And I'm like, okay, they really are here. But I think the older we get,

10:39we kind of like separate ourselves because we have our group of people and everyone is not open to meet new people going on to or connecting with like-minded people. They have their group and they're satisfied with their group or for the people that want to reach out and want to. You said all over the country, I mean, this is the perfect opportunity and you don't have to live in the same city. You know, you come together, you do it virtually, but you still, nevertheless, make that community. Yeah, absolutely. You make that work for you. Girl, I love that for you too. So you want y'all to know that I am learning all this right along with you. I don't know, but I'm excited to find out. I'm going to throw something in here that has nothing to do with any of you. Okay. So you told me last night to play this music, right? Yeah. The soaking worship.

11:45The soaking worship. Yes. I played the soaking worship and I didn't tell you off camera. I played the soaking worship and I was knocked out sleep. I said, Glory to God. Look, I wanted your true reaction. I said, I'm gonna sell, I'm selling anybody else to do that when they need to meet her the next morning because I turned it on again this morning. I went back to sleep and when I woke up, I was like, oh my goodness, let me get going because I'm about to be late for my own life because I was knocked out. Glory to God. Oh, that makes me so happy. Yeah, I tell the story of this. Yes, go ahead. So we were kind of just, you know, girl chatting a little bit and we were talking about, you know, being able to get rest at night and things. And I'm like, ooh, do you know what I do when I need to get rest and you know, I've been doing it a lot lately is listening to soaking worship music. So back in 2016, my best friend passed away. And so I was really grieving and I was going through and I couldn't find the right music that I wanted to listen to. I knew I needed the sound of worship,

12:50but not necessarily the lyrics. And so I started looking up worship instrumentals. I came across a gentleman named William Augusto and I always shout him out because I absolutely love the work that he's doing. He is literally blessing lives all over the world. So he has this three-hour soaking worship instrumental. It's available on YouTube. It's available on any digital streaming platform. And I listened to it whether I'm praying or I need, I'm having trouble regulating my nervous system or getting to sleep at night. I play this worship music and it puts me to sleep and it soothes my soul. Y'all genuinely soothes my soul. So the fact that it blesses you blesses me and I'm so excited. I'm so happy and I will continue to shout for the rooftops. If you are struggling with anxiety or sleeping and you don't necessarily need the lyrics of worship music, but you need the spirit of it, turn on some soaking worship music. 13:50Yes, yes, and I wanted to take you so bad this morning because I was knocked out, but I asked you. Yeah, you did it. You didn't do it. Yeah, I said, I want to tell her love so that I can have no reaction that I'm over sleep. So don't tell anybody do it if you got to meet the first thing in the morning. Glory to God. Sometimes I want to say it's finished. Glory out of your house. Wow, I love that. Yes, so according to James, this wow, that's a beautiful community. So she's that's the comment back when you were talking about what you were doing. And she's still pranithia said, yes, this is so beautiful. Oh, see, we hadn't even dogged into it so much and you are already popular over here. That's right. So soaking worship. Thank you for putting that up there, Jane. All right. So another thing that I wanted to ask you, which you kind of already touched on, like the sisterhood and things like that. But when it comes to like your prayer

14:55journals, I know that those became something. So I want you to share how your prayer journals evolves into something else. You know what? I didn't even know you're going to ask this. I would have had them here with me to show you. I do have one to show you actually. Yes, sure. I didn't want to tell this. So I'm just like, okay, and what did they become? Okay, so first of all, the season when I was grieving with the loss of my best friend changed me tremendously. It introduced me to a lot of things in terms of my relationship with God. And it caused me to look at life through a very real lens, you know, like when you start, when you get that close to that sort of thing, you know, I want to make sure I don't say the wrong words here, but right, you get that close to it. It makes you look at life like, okay, this is not a game. This is not a joke. We're not wasting time. So I started a lot of things, um, practices,

15:57whether it was taking care of my body. I was going for walks every morning. I started prayer journaling. I was spending more time with God. I was listening to the soaking worship. I was being more mindful and intentional in my relationships. And one of the things that really blessed me is the prayer journal. So started prayer journaling mostly because in fact, the Lord had called me the prayer journal six months prior. And I'm just like, I always despised like handwriting long, like long form handwriting because growing up, I was like, I'm not the girl to have a diary. I don't feel like, I love typing, but I did not like writing. And so when I was grieving, I couldn't even verbalize my prayers. And so the only thing I had was journaling. And a lot of times I was just scribbles. I'm like, Lord, I don't even know what to say. You can translate this, you know, exactly what this is. So in my first ever prayer journal, you'll just see a bunch of scribbles because I'm like, I don't even have the words. But as I've gone, I've done completed now nine journals. I actually just, I'm starting a new one tomorrow. So now 10, I just completed my 10th prayer journal. But I'm also

17:04now been creating some for others. So this is one of my prayer journals that I've created. It's called a prayer for win. It's actually a series. So this is the first installment in the series. And this is a prayer for win. And it's prayers for your family and friends. So in this prayer journal, it actually gives you prompts. It gives you space to reflect, to write down your thoughts and your feelings. It has in the back here, a prayer tracker. Because sometimes I've written down prayers. And I can't remember, you know, when the manifestation of that thing comes or Lord will speak to me a prayer. And I want to go back and reference it when it happens. So this is a prayer tracker. So you can say, when you're praying for someone, what you're praying about, any notes or when those prayers are answered, the date. And then we just have some kind of some journaling in here. So like this, a prayer for win friendship fills distant. And I give you scriptures in here, your reflection, and then a prayer prompt. Again, sometimes you don't even have the words of, I was just, we don't even know how to pray. But the Holy Spirit will give us

18:07utterance. So these are some prayer prompts in here to kind of help you get started, kind of like the training wheels to help you get to that place when you're struggling to even know how to communicate with God in prayer. But yeah, I didn't even know you're going to bring that up. I love my prayer journals. They mean a lot to me. As I've continued prayer journaling, I kind of see it as some sort of documentation for my legacy. You know, I hope that one day when I'm gone, my kids can go look and be like, wow, I'm completely honest, completely raw. I said, if this ever gets in the wrong hands, I'm done. Okay. But I believe in being honest, you cannot, my mom had a good friend, she recently passed actually, but she used to always say, if it's not revealed, it can't be healed. When you go to God of prayer, you have to be honest. You have to lay it all on the line and you can't be afraid. When I first started journaling, I was nervous. I'm like, if somebody ever finds these, but I hope they do. And I hope that it shows them that they can be honest in prayer, that they can

19:08go to God, that they can say, hey, this is what I'm dealing with, because if you don't, how's he ever going to fix it? If you're not true and honest, God is the spirit, they that worship him must worship him in spirit and the truth. So yeah, I love my journals. You guys, yes, look at there. All right, James says one. Yeah, you don't have me so emotional. Oh my goodness. God bless you. I got to get you one girl. Hit me on Instagram. I'll send you the link. You know, let me put that up there too. What I was going to say was, I'm so glad that you actually touched on that too, because the Lord does give us the sign that sometimes we just, you know, we're like, I don't want to do that. I didn't want to write. I used to love writing in cursive and doing this thing. And I know most people probably know the story. I wrote this guy a letter because I really liked him and I lost it. Like I dropped it and someone found it. Same

20:12thing. You're talking about someone found it and passed it all around the school. I was so embarrassed. I didn't want to write again. And I think I'm still talking about it. When it's time to write, it's so hard to write because if you carry, you really don't want anyone to find it. But once you are okay and you're healing, just like you said, you have to reveal it in order to heal. And so many people say, well, why can't you tell them all your business? If I don't see it that way, I see that I'm releasing a lot of things that I've carried most of my life. And now that I'm open about it, I'm going to be open about it. Must be something today. What did she say? My grandmother said, I can chew my tobacco twice. So if I said it once, I can say it again. You know, so I'm okay with writing it now. I'm going to keep writing it. But I'm still glad that you said that because when you know that other people have experienced that same thing, just I don't even know

21:15what to write. I don't need to sit down and I don't know what to say. But so thank you for sharing that. And I guess Jane needed to hear it too, because she is on it. All right. So tell us about the move. How did that come about? Was that a good thing? Are you satisfied with your transition? Because a lot of people are in that season of their life where they have to go from here to there and moving can be scary. You know, it's one of the top stressors when you look at it, it's like, I think I had all three of them. I was going through a divorce. I was moving and I was getting a new job or something. I was stressed out to the max. So tell us how you did your transition and if you're satisfied with your decision. So growing up, we moved quite a bit. My dad is a bishop. He's over the presiding bishop of the international church fellowship.

22:17But growing up, he was a pastor. He had three churches and they were in three different cities. So we moved a lot or we traveled a lot. So I've always said that home is where my family is. You know, I've always been able to identify home in that way because I understood somehow at an early age that sometimes the cities that we live in or that we're assigned to, if it whether it's long term or for a season, it's a calling. So God will call you to a place, right? So growing up, moving was never a problem for me. Moving to Houston, which is where I live now, I moved here because I broke my ankle and my parents were like, you cannot possibly stay in a city by yourself with your little girl. You're going to need help. So funny enough, I'll tell you the whole story of how I ended up here. So I was living in Arizona and my parents said that the Lord called them to move

23:19to Houston. And even the way that God spoke to my mom and then spoke to my dad, it was supernatural. They decided they were going to move it. I was like, okay, cool. Me too. And then I said, wait, hold on. I decided that this was my test of adulthood and my relationship with God. And I said, no, I need to, I'm the head of my household now. So I need to hear from God and make sure God instructs me to to go. So I told the Lord, speak to me. A couple of months had gone by, I still hadn't heard anything. And I said, I'm not moving until he tells me to move, right? I came to Houston to visit them. And I heard the Holy Spirit say, start looking for a place to call home. And so I said, okay, so I started looking for places. And I found a condo that I really wanted. I thought it was so beautiful. It was right down the street for my parents. It was great. But I'm like, I don't have the money for that, right? So in obedience, I had called my apartment in Arizona

24:21and I told them I won't be renewing my lease. So I find this place. I'm good. I'm flying back home. The entire playwright, I'm crying. And I'm like, God, this can't be you and it hurts this bad. I literally said that too. This cannot be you and it hurts this bad. I don't want to move. I can't possibly fathom the fact that you're asking me to move when this is how I feel inside. So I get home and I tell the leasing office, I'm not moving. Mind you, this now means that I need to you know, go ahead and renew my lease, which the rent was going up for the third year. And I'm like, okay, whatever. Long story short, I ended breaking my ankle so I'm not able to work. So now I'm going through a financial hardship. And I don't have the money to cover my rent. And so they gave me grace and grace and grace. And then finally, they're like, we can't do this you have to go. So now I'm being evicted. Oh wow. During the pandemic, I had applied for rental

25:28assistance. It was just me, my daughter, I missed a month of work, you know, from COVID and all these sorts of things. Well, I ended up not needing the rental assistance because I was able to go back to work. So fast forward to this circumstance. And I'm praying. I'm like, Lord, I don't know what I'm going to do now because now I, you know, I renew the lease. Now I owe them. I broke my ankle. I can't work all these things. Mind you, I was in the middle of a tour when I broke my ankle. It was the 12th, a 12 city tour. It was the second to last stop on the tour, the day I broke my ankle. I was supposed to be going to Miami that day. I pray and pray and pray. The Lord tells me, come to Houston. So I'm like, okay, well, I have no choice now, right? They end up moving me out of my apartment. My mom and my brothers flew to Arizona, moved me out. The lady from the leasing office calls me and says, Hey, there's a check on our desk for the, for the remaining balance of your, your year. And I'm like, how? And she says, well, I guess you apply for rental assistance sometime earlier

26:32this year or last year and they said to us a check and we never knew. But we'll use that to complete the balance of your lease. Wow. The amount was the amount it cost for the condo I saw here. And she says, if you wouldn't have renewed your lease, this check is yours. We couldn't have done anything with it. We just would have sent it, sent it to you. So out of disobedience and fear and question, God, is this even you? I backpedaled on my obedience when God had everything set up for me already. I would have had the money I needed. Mind you, there was extra money for a car because I said, well, God, I'm going to need a car if I'm moving to Houston. Everything I needed was already figured out. But because of my disobedience, I missed out on that. God has restored me and blessed me tremendously on, you know, on the other side of all of this. But at that particular point in time, I had to see the repercussions of my disobedience. And I believe, even him breaking my leg, I believe that was the Lord because that was his way of getting me here.

27:35When I was in the hospital and they were fixing my my leg, they put me under and I had a supernatural encounter with Holy Spirit. And an angel of the Lord came and prophesied to me. So I know it was God. He wanted me in this city for such a time as this. So to answer the question, I wanted to tell you about the move and how we got to be here. But whether or not I regret it, absolutely not. And if I would have come sooner, things would have been different. Oh, yeah. What kind of testimony? Who knows what I delayed. But I'm happy that I am happy that I had that experience. I feel like I needed for more reasons than one. But it showed me the goodness of God. It showed me the mercy of God. It showed me the way that he can restore you, the way that he answers your prayers. At that time, you know, I've always been the person. I say I always say yes first. I obeyed the first time I listened to God. When he says do it, do it. At that time, I was going through a divorce.

28:35My divorce had just finalized before they said they were moving to Houston. And I was dealing with my own, you know, internal conflict, my own spiritual battle, which I believe ultimately led to the disobedience because I was like, well, no, I want to do it my way. You know, I'm going to do what I need to do. What I feel like is best for me and my child. And God was like, yeah, but I'm doing what's best for my child. And he worked it out. And so I'm here. I love Houston. I don't love the weather, but I love the people. I love the experiences. I love the miracles that God has worked out for me and my family in this city. So yeah, that's how we got here and how I feel about it. Well, that is a blessing. I tell you, I didn't know I was going to get all of that, but hey, I love it. I love it. That it even showed up in what you needed. Because out of your mouth, you said, I couldn't afford it, but guys that I already have it, you know, already figured it out. Already done and already figured out, you just needed to say yes. Yeah. And not that track,

29:39because that fear, I'm going to tell you what, it definitely will make you second guess. Yeah, yeah. Absolutely. And second guess, whether or not you heard the voice of God, right? He heard them. He spoke loud and clear, but it depends on the posture of our heart at the time. You know, we want to hear what we want to hear or believe what we want to believe. And God is like, babe, I am the author and the finisher of your face. I know how this is. I know where you're going to end up. So just do it my way. We can avoid the detour. You know, and just see so are the causes of life. Yeah. Absolutely. Well, thank you so much for sharing that. I know I saw that you were like this serial for newer life. And so how do you balance all of that? Because I know a lot of people on here, I'm going to say, I'm not going to do that. So I'm going to find their names. I know as a lady

30:40on here that is trying to balance all of the things that she's responsible for. And I know that you said, now you're a mom. Yeah. You also said that you're an author. You also said that you're a public publicist. And what else do you do? You have a community. Yes. And go ahead with the answer. I told you I have some of my books. I'll show you here. Excuse my reach. So I'm an author. I have tons of books and guides. And so this was the first book I ever wrote. It's called When a Friend Can't Find Forgiveness. This is actually based on my best friend and I. When she passed away, we hadn't spoken in six months because of a misunderstanding. So when she passed, I was not only grieving the loss of her. I was now truly grieving the loss of our friendship and coping with the fallout. And so we never had a chance to find forgiveness for one another

31:43and make amends and all of these things. I won't totally spoil it for you, but I felt led to write her a letter talking about writing. And I wrote so many different versions of this letter. And finally, I wrote one the day before she passed away. I finally wrote this letter. And I get the call the next day that she had passed. And then I mailed it off. Her mother buried it in the casket with her. She never got to read it. Never got to know how I felt or that I was sorry. But this talks about that. The beginning of our friendship, the highs and lows. It was an amazing friendship, truly. But I talk about how to forgive yourself. How to forgive someone who was no longer here. Then you don't get to have that conversation with how to heal and to move forward. So that's what this book is. And then I did an animated teen version of that called a heart to forgive. So this is the animated version of this. My daughter and my nieces, they love this. It's a quick and easy read. I try to

32:43keep it short and sweet, but it's kind of still with the same message of, you know, forgiveness and friendship and the value of friendship as well. I don't think a lot of people talk about the value of it. The Bible says there's a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Friendship is really important to not just us as individuals, but it was important to Jesus. He wept when Lazarus died. Jesus had his disciples. He was about community and fellowship and friendship. And I think a lot of times it's very underrated how important and how cherished friendship should be. So that's what those two are about. And then I shared this with you, our prayer journal, a prayer for win. Again, the first of many have so many. We just haven't rolled them fully out yet, but this one is available now. And then I have something called Boss Babe Lifehacks. Yes, this is when we're talking about that balancing act. This is going to help you with that. So we have two different versions of this. But being an author was one of the things that I felt called to do early as a young girl. I always saw myself writing books. So the fact that I get to do it, it really excites me, you know, when God shows you sort of the path that he's going to place you on and then you end up there. It's like, oh my goodness, you know, it's very exciting. You showed me this early. So I'm an author, I'm a business coach, a mentor, I'm mentoring some kids from University of Houston right now, which is really cool. We have like this five month program going on. Also a singer, a songwriter. I don't know if I

35:49mentioned that. Love to see now. But I knew that the prayer journals led to that. So that's what I was. That was another thing. Yeah. I love to sing. I've been singing. They tell me since I was two years old. Just really enjoy connecting with God in that way, writing songs. I've co-written a ton of songs, you know, with different artists and have really helped push their careers forward. But I want to be more intentional about not necessarily pursuing the career of music for myself, but just being more intentional and deliberate about putting my music out there. Because I do believe that the Lord is giving me something unique. I have some music available now in digital platforms. I have some music videos out on YouTube. So yeah, that's another thing I do. I don't know what I'm missing. I will say because we've been talking around. Thanks a lot in our personal conversations. But I work in production. So my family works in film. And I've been a producer, production manager since 2013. I produced my first short film back in 2013. Or you know,

36:53I was one of the producers on the project. And we've done a ton of films. We've done a ton of movie tours. We've done up the 20 cities for one of the films, 10 cities for another film. Our movies are up on 2B. You can go watch them there. If you look up John Wins, J-O-H-N-W-Y-N-N-A-Pastrophe-S, that's my dad, John Wins. On 2B, he has three films there. John Wins, one hour, John Wins, Mary and Mary, and John Wins Playhouse. And so I was production manager on those. I make a cameo. I think in one of them, in Mirror and Mirror, they pulled me in as an actress on that one. But you know, our whole goal is to bring entertainment and inspiration together. So we're entertaining, but we're bringing a message of love, a message of restoration for the whole man through our films and TV shows. And we have a global distribution platform called The Wind Network. And yeah, I love all of the things. A lot of people ask me, why do you do so much? Why pick a thing? But when I feel inspired to pursue a thing,

37:58I believe that that's the Lord of Press to get on my heart. And I'd rather get to heaven and you're well done, my good and faithful servant, than why didn't you do the thing that I told you to do? You know, you don't want to get to the pearly gate to be like, well, I was nervous about what they would think. I don't care what they think, you know? I don't care. I said that again for sunshine, the sitting in the front. You are not the ultimate judge. You can have an opinion of me. You know, we can have opinions of one another and the past that we take and the things that we do. But if the Lord is leading me to do something, again, we see what happened. That was the last time I needed to be disobedient. We see what the hell look like. So I'm like, I would rather follow God and go with him and do it his way, the do it my way, you're where anybody else is. And then now I'm in trouble with him, you know? So that's why I pursue it all. And even with the

39:03balancing act of it all, I believe you have to be led by God. You know, there are a lot of people who will start a lot of things and businesses and listen, listen, try to have their hand in the lava. If the Lord is not leading you to do that, you also don't have to feel pressured to do that. You know, but if that's his plan for your life, then he's responsible for making provision in those areas. And you said, Lord, now you told me to do this and you told me to do that and this and that. So I need you to give me teams that I could trust. I need you to give me systems. I need you to show me how to make all of this stuff work. Do I need to do things in phases? Do I focus on this? Do I give everything a day? I think talking to God about it is going to be the best option because he will show you. He'll say, yeah, remember the bakery that you went down to the other day to get that cupcake? There's a girl there who's looking for a job and you have the resources for the job that she needs and she has the skill set. Go down there and offer her a job. Like God can give you the clear instruction on how to make it all work in a

40:05way that is beyond human understanding. You know, he uses the fullest things to confound the wise. So when you're trying to balance multiple businesses or, you know, run multiple things or wear multiple hats, it is not for the faint of heart. A lot of people can't handle it. And you, it's a sacrifice. You know, you lose that on relationships. You lose that on opportunities. You lose out on getting to go and be a part of different things. You have to be more mindful of your time. Huh? You lose that on sleep. You lose that on sleep. You're going to be mindful of your time. So if the Lord is leading you, then it's his responsibility to give you the the strategy. But if he's not leading you and you're just trying to keep up with the Joneses, then you have to be aware of that. Be very self-aware of that. Scale back and say, okay, God, show me what I need to be doing. Because again, you don't really need to be trying to keep up with nobody else's judgment or criticism. As bad as it hurts, you know, as frustrating as it can be,

41:06you have to sort of develop some tough skin and say, Lord, I need you to show me how to do this with me and you. And it's going to be lonely. But at the end of the day, would you rather be pleasing to God or be pleasing to man? And that's the way I look at it. Talk to God. He'll show you. He'll give you the Bible talks about that. The man's heart devises plans, but God provides the way. So only he can show you how to successfully accomplish the things that he's given you to do. So that's my advice. I said a lot, but I hope you answer the question. Are you serious? I believe you show a blessing to us tonight. I could say it then. Amen. Personal experience. And there's Jane. Did you see her comment? She said, oh, girl, that I need to hear this today. Amen. Right. Because I'm just looking at the end. So committed. Yes. Lord to God. Because we do, unfortunately, give too much weight to other people in their opinions.

42:07And so just to hear you say that, it's like, we're not, it's being disobedient and are obedient and which one she was on today. And sometimes with all the noise, the people saying, ooh, you should do this or you should do that or like doing this. And you can't, you can't do all of these things based on someone's opinion. Because it's just that it's an opinion. And I have to learn is that an opinion is not a final judgment on your life. You know, that's just their opinion. And their opinions are shaped based on their experiences, you know, or the knows that they were told or the things that they weren't able to do. So we can't take opinions as judgment, you know, or the final say, it's just their opinion. It really doesn't matter. Thank you. And leave it at that. Thanks for your opinion. And then go do what you're going to do, you know, go do what you're going to because, you know, we're helping people

43:13along this journey. We're helping people and you never know what and how you bless the young lady as the example that you gave that was back at the store. She needed a job. You had the job that she needed. And so our obedience is directly connected to somebody else's life. And so, you know, it's very important to be obedient. Let's see what Miss Elizabeth said. That's good. My pastor instructs us to write in letter. It's the one that we can't forgive because they have passed. Wow. Mm-hmm. Wow. I never knew that. Yeah. The Lord showed me to do that and look what happened. It freed me because I shall never know. Mm-hmm. Feed me. If that's what forgiving is does. Yeah. It frees you. It's not about them. And this is how I was feeling as you were talking about forgiveness is that that's like the basis of the I owe her for me. These five different things,

44:17but that particular one about forgiveness is releasing those things that you've been holding in your heart to poor people that may not ever say I'm sorry. Some people are so stubborn. And whatever prideful, I don't know what it is because I say I'm sorry all the time. I have problems saying I'm sorry, especially if I wronged you or I hurt you know, so I'm sorry. Mm-hmm. But that was the most powerful part to me was the forgiveness and you know people have been saying you need to write. You need to write. And I wasn't sure like how to write, but I knew it was going to be on the forgiveness part. And I just want to say this. Don't compare yourself to other people. That's the first thing. Mm-hmm. Then there's nothing new under the sun. So immediately when I saw yourself was forgiveness, forgive, forgive, I thought somebody's going to say,

45:18now she wrote that because you know, Sarah wrote about forgiveness and it didn't have nothing to do with that. You know, this is something that I've been working through. So I think all of this to encourage people. No. Just like you said, don't worry about what people say. Don't worry about the judgment. You know what you're supposed to do because I say it all the time, fairer is the signs of people. Sunshine is the signs of people. And it does not have to interfere with the other one. We can compliment each other and encourage one another, support one another. And that's just that. And I felt like I needed to say it because we get caught up in that what I was going to do it, but they did. Right. You know, somebody told me the market was saturated. Okay. How many chicken places is it? How many Mexican restaurants are there? How many? You can just ask yourself so many different questions. It's the same. Do it because yours is different. McDonald's hamburger is

46:19different from Burger King's hamburger. And Wendy. So I hope that helps somebody to go on through what God has given you. Even if it looks like somebody else's is not them. You are unique and you have assignments. Period. Amen to that. That's it's so funny. The Lord gave me a Bible study series to launch. And I kind of been delaying my camera broke and all kind of stuff. And I'm like, Lord Jesus. And there's these girls that I follow who have a podcast and they touched on the exact same topic. Now I've never seen anyone cover this. I developed the whole workbook around it, but I've been delaying and I almost got discouraged at first. And I said, well, no, because there's some people who need to hear from you. You know, and sometimes you have to talk to yourself. You have to remind yourself, you know, it's almost like you have to

47:20parent or to coach yourself sometimes and say, hey, it's okay. You're going through this today. Don't stay here, you know, or it's time to get up, get to work, make things happen. You have to talk yourself through a lot of the things in life, you know, and talk yourself out of discouragement. Talk yourself out of avoiding the thing that God has called you to. And so that was something that happened very recently. And I said, okay. And I didn't think a second longer about it. And I said, I'm still going to do what God called me to do because he called me to do it. You know, and he also called them to do it and good for them for being obedient when they were, you know. So whatever it is, do it. And no matter how long it takes, get it done. That's what I always did. Yes. Yes. I agree. And as soon as you said it, I thought about it. And I'm like, who are they? We give them they so much power over our lives. And so I'm glad that you were able to encourage yourself, tell yourself like God gave it to me. And I will not be disobedient again. And so I'm going to do exactly what God gave me to do. So I do, I love that for you.

Honey, we struggle with it too. Yeah. We've already accomplished that. Got that t-shirt. Got that degree. We got a PhD. Right. So it's like, it's always good to share a little bit about like what you've been through and what you would share with your younger self. So the one someone else is going through it and they're having those thoughts of suicide or they're having, you know, the emotion of they're not good enough. They can remember that you said it's all going to work out. Don't worry about the outcomes. Just enjoy life. Yeah. I love God and God loves me. Yeah. And that's it. You know, yes. Amen. Amen. So also, I'm going to ask you, if you could tell people

52:03like, if you didn't get anything else from tonight's episode, I want you to say this away with you. This one thing, if you didn't hear anything else, Ferris there tonight, please take this one take away. Oh, be God. Oh, be him. You get that definitely needed to be the one. And you know, it's not even necessarily a cautionary tale. Like I'm not like, oh, be God, or you're going to break your ankle, you're going to tell me that I'm not saying that. But what I am saying is that you miss out on the benefits of obedience, right? So I talk a lot about in the book of Isaiah, where they were, you know, in the Old Testament, they were giving sacrifices to God, right? They'd have to go and burn the cattle, the sheep, whatever the incense would go into heaven. They had this big ceremonial situation that took place, right? By the time we get to the book of Isaiah, we see

53:05that they weren't bringing the best of the best. They weren't bringing their first fruits. They weren't bringing, you know, the best sheep. They were bringing blemished animals, blind animals, crippled animals. And they were, it kind of defeats the purpose of sitting a perfect sacrifice up to God to make a tonement. So when the scripture says obedience is better than sacrifice, it's literally saying that your obedience is better than even the best sacrifice that you could make it on an altar. So we think, you know, you better obey or you have to sacrifice. Yes, I said no, but what that is specifically saying is when you obey God, it's better than giving a billion dollars to a church. It's better than sacrificing all your time and running a ministry. Obedience is the key to God's plan. You know, he's obviously calling you to do a thing because it's a part of his divine plan. So obey him, no matter what that looks like, no matter how people

54:05fill about it, no matter what people think about it, it's going to be hard, you know, but that's why you have to stay near the cross. Stay anchor, stay prayerful, keep the flesh cut off fast and pray, stay in the word because then it'll be easier to obey. Even Jesus was in the garden of the simony, bleeding, sweating to the point of blood. Thank, Lord, I don't want to do this. But for this cause came I and not my will but you will be done. Even Jesus was struggling in that moment with obeying, but he said, I'm not going to let the flesh get the best of me. I still am going to go do this because all of humanity is dependent on it. So live like that. All of humanity is based is is is depending on your obedience to God and take that weight and obey and watch how God blesses you. It might not be an immediate blessing, your turn around, but it's coming and it's according to his divine plan and his will for your life. So you're nothing else. Oh,
