He was elected in 2002 as the Senate’s youngest member and served for eight years. In his role as the Florida Attorney General’s “Drug Czar,” Aronberg led an anti-pill mill initiative that helped clean up the pain clinic industry and reduce the number of deaths from oxycodone abuse.
