Senator Cory Booker took to the Senate floor in a marathon 25-hour speech, a dramatic display aimed at protesting President Trump’s policies. His extended remarks were part of a broader effort to voice opposition and draw attention to issues he claimed would have harmful consequences. While his supporters hailed him as a hero, others saw his performance as little more than political theatrics.
