The victims were Benjamin Mitchell, Monica Hauffa, Anthony Nyboa, and Ronald Felton. The killer, how Emanuel Donaldson III, was arrested, pleaded guilty to the murders in 2023 and received a life sentence. A new documentary called The Murders of Seminole Heights just premiered at the Gasparilla International Film Festival. It was made by local filmmakers from shoplifter studios and their partner company, focusing on the events from a Tampa perspective. Residents back then fell constant fear, unsure who to trust as the killing shook the whole community. The film aims to honor the victims' lives and memories, bringing some closure to their families and friends. Director Joseph Guera and scriptwriter Gordon Weller, both locals who lived through it, wanted a straightforward telling without any hype.
