Seerah 30: Battle of Uhud Part 1

The defeat at Badr was an extreme shame for the Quraish and their pride could not leave this unavenged. Revenge was, therefore, the catch word all over Makkah to the extent that the Makkans forbade lamenting over their murdered people, or ransoming their captives at Badr Battle.  

In this first part, the speaker sets the stage describing in detail the preparations of the Quraish and the Muslims as they approached the battle field.

The speaker explains the meticulous planning and preparation by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to take all the worldly means for the battle.  Additionally, he (ﷺ) mentally prepared the Muslim fighters implanting in the spirit and the purpose and reward for fighting in the path of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) thus setting the stage for the battle.
