Welcome to episode #56 of "Not Me, But You!" In this episode I share my thoughts about the wild fires in California and hurricanes blowing in from Africa. Originally, I was going to stay silent on this topic. I know that people who watch "the news" believe that there is politics attached to this issue. And naturally, whenever a "disaster" happens that is featured in the 24 hour news cycle, people are looking for someone to blame. 

There is an old saying in the news business, "If it bleeds, IT LEADS!" And that is usually true. If it's BAD news then it's the first story that the "news program" LEADS off with at the beginning of the show! 

Well, there is politics attached to this issue but probably NOT the way you think. Also I have some "informed academics" say that the wild fires are due to Global Warming. That is highly doubtful and in this episode I explain in detail. 

It is my opinion that "news" or "journalism" or "science" should ALL be driven by seeking the truth with no agenda! And unfortunately in life, that doesn't always happen. But there IS hope! We can use our internet connections to DO OUR OWN research. Then and ONLY then, are we likely INFORMED and EDUCATED. If you rely ONLY on "the media" to inform you, then sadly you are NOT informed but rather INDOCTRINATED to the media's POINT OF VIEW! 

My wish for you is for you to become wealthy. Unlike some wealthy people, I WANT there to be MORE wealthy people on planet EARTH!
