Story Transcript:

En: The summer in Tallinn was full of life and sunshine.

Et: Kohviroosteri lõhnad täitsid Karlova tänava nurgas asuvat väikest kohvikuust.
En: The aromas of freshly roasted coffee filled the small café on the corner of Karlova street.

Et: Liina, tubli barista, viipas tervituseks iga hommiku joogi vajajale, kes kohvikust läbi astus.
En: Liina, a diligent barista, waved a greeting to every morning drink seeker who passed through the café.

Et: Aga see päev oli eriline.
En: But this day was special.

Et: Ukse taha jäeti kummalise välimusega kast, millel polnud ühtegi kirja ega märget.
En: A mysterious-looking box was left at the door, with no writing or markings on it.

Et: "Aleksander, kas sa tead sellest midagi?"
En: "Aleksander, do you know anything about this?"

Et: küsis Liina ulatades kolleegidele väikese valge paki.
En: asked Liina, handing a small white package to her colleagues.

Et: Aleksander, kõrgete teadmistega kohvimeister, vaid raputas pead.
En: Aleksander, a coffee master with extensive knowledge, just shook his head.

Et: Marta, rahuliku loomuga raamatupidaja, vaatas pakki üle prillide.
En: Marta, the calm-natured accountant, looked over the package through her glasses.

Et: "Küllap see on eksitus.
En: "It's probably a mistake.

En: A common delivery error," suggested Marta and turned back to her numbers.

Et: Liina aga ei olnud rahul.
En: However, Liina was not satisfied.

Et: Tema uudishimu ei jätnud teda maha.
En: Her curiosity did not leave her in peace.

En: She had heard rumors on the streets about strange events, missing items, and hidden secrets.

Et: Kas see pakk võis kuidagi sellega seotud olla?
En: Could this package be related to that somehow?

En: In the evening, when the café had calmed down and the last customers had left, Liina was the last to stay at work.

Et: Mõtlema jäi ta pakendist.
En: She was left pondering over the package.

En: She knew it had to be opened carefully so as not to damage the contents.

Et: Pärast mitut proovimist sai Liina väikese augu sisse lõigatud.
En: After several attempts, Liina managed to cut a small hole.

En: Inside were old maps and letters, written in code.

Et: Ta teadis, et see on midagi suurt.
En: She knew this was something big.

En: The next day, on the morning of her day off, Liina rushed to the capital’s library.

En: There, in a quiet corner, she studied the maps and letters for hours.

En: Finally, she realized they led to a mysterious place, beneath the city of Tallinn, where a forgotten treasure was hidden.

En: Continuing to investigate the mysterious codes, Liina felt like a detective from an old movie.

Et: Tal tekkis kindel usaldus enda võimete suhtes.
En: She developed a strong confidence in her abilities.

En: Not knowing when, but how, Liina knew that this summer's adventure was just beginning.

En: By the end of the day, as the sun set, Liina sat on the café's veranda.

En: She looked at the streets of Tallinn, every building and every stone telling its story.

En: And Liina was more than ready to discover them all.
