Thomas fits that mold, handling everything from deep coverage to punt protection during his Colt stays. Early in his career, he started full-time his first two years, snagging six picks but giving up seven touchdowns. His second season saw a rough quarterback rating over 110 allowed, and he's barely played defense snap since, down to just one start.
