The 29-year-old has been a key special teams player for the team. Last season, Sarat joined the Seahawks in late August after the 49ers let him go. He handled 60% of their special team's snaps before an ankle injury landed him on injured reserve. Throughout his career, Sarat has suited up in 52 games across three teams since entering the league as a third round pick by the Vikings back. In 2021, he's logged 153 defensive snaps and 848 on special teams. He returned to the active roster ahead of Super Bowl 60 but stayed inactive for the big game.
