The show follows a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con, who restarts as a private investigator in crime rate in South Florida. He handles weird cases with help from his journalist ex, her police detective wife, and a mysterious woman from his past, who might save or doom him. The cast includes Janely Ortiz, Kevin Rankin as RJ's former cellmate, and bar owner, a loisiest wish-a-can, Adelaide Clemens, and Bevin Brew, as Detective Melody Melabrayo, who is married to the journalist, and enates that his co-stars rave about Speeman on set. They call him a total professional who always knows his lines and brings fresh energy to every scene.
