0:00when I was eight, I did my first movie with a little guest star named Elvis Presley. My mom and I are on the set and he invited my mother and I into his dressing room. So then he gave me a car. Now, obviously, you don't give an eight or nine year old a car, the movie was about a circus and had a dozen kids and the kids from the Brady bus. And he bought 20 push cars and gave us all little Cadillacs. I'm a Seattle. I worked there on the radio for 12 years. She had a bought this house, man. I've been on the radio pretty much every day for 35 years. What a way to make a living just great. But the radio turns out I was born for it. So do you know Molly, Ellen Trevolt, is daughter? Your mind works. When you said Molly, I thought Ringwold or the drug. Why did you get off all that stuff? I'm not sure about drugs really a long time, 20, 20 years or more. An alcohol I've been sober 15 years. So that was bad Danny. Yeah. Did you did you find it much different after you got off everything to do radio?

1:04And I was concerned about this because I was often intoxicated one way or another on the air and still pretty good at it. And then I decided to quit it at all and I thought, what if I'm not funny? What if sober Danny isn't funny? You're going to come into this story as a matter of fact. I was blessed to get over really bad times. And in a very small way, you have a story in this. I'm either high or not high enough or so. I'm just standing on a corner on your Havenhurst Adventura. Where Michael Jackson's family is going. And I stand there because I have nowhere to be. That corner is as good as anywhere else. I'm out of work. I'm on drugs. I'm drawing just life did. You know, it didn't work out that well. As well as I thought it would after the part of the family. And you pull up in a very nice car at a red light. And you look over and you see his me go, hey, Danny, who can good? And then you took off and I went, well, he was being serious, you think, so I'm looking good. You know, it's a small thing, but I felt really good about that.

2:06It's a Jagle-Hale Marlin Brando would answer the door. I went to school with Christian Brando. And we went over to his house one day to smoke pot at lunch or something like that. And Brando said, he's around his underwear and a white beater. And he didn't really interact with this, but that was my whole thing with with Marlin Brando is that he sat around tables full of food, just a ton of food in front of him. And he just sit there and his underwear. And the reality is that's Marlin Brando sitting right there and his underwear was not lost on me. That was pretty amazing. So this is this large Marlin or is this like in between Marlin? Medium. Medium Marlin. Not giant romantic Marlin. Is this ponytail Brando? No, this is almost ball Brando. So this is post godfather? No, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's a big deal to be at Marlin Brando's house. Only a couple years later, John Lennon came to the set of the Partridge family to visit David Cassidy and everything went crazy. So I got even at 10 or whatever you were, was that you got the magnitude that John Lennon was

3:08nearby, everything. And the crowd was like crazy. Somebody cut a huge chunk of David Cassidy's hair off and somebody else tore part of Susan Dees dress or whatever she was wearing. And that was scary for them. Again, I'm sorry, anything bad happened to my friends, but I loved it. I loved the maim. So showbiz has been very kind to me. I'm kind to me a couple of times, but showbiz has been great and I loved every second of it.
