I år er det hundre år siden den utvandrede trønderen Sigurd Olson «Sig» Haugdahl satte en uoffisiell verdensrekord på Daytona Beach!Monsteret han satt i hadde han bygget selv rundt en 13 liters prototype flymotor, bilen ble døpt Wisconsin Special. I anledning jubileet hadde Ivar Åsland og andre støttespillere fått bilen til Oslo Motorshow 2022. Vi tok en prat med Ivar men også med Heinz Bachmann fra Sveis som er dagens eier. I mylderet rundt bilen fant vi også Sig's norske slekt som kastet lys over Verdalingen som kjørte 289 km/t for hundre år siden. Takk for praten alle sammen!
