For Schizophrenia has been demonized in western society as being a mental illness causing patients to hallucinate and have delusions . Meanwhile in indigenous cultures it is revered as being a deep connection to the divine bridging the gap between this world and the next . What are the connections to what is referred to as indigo children ? Why is the spiritual community and scientific community so divided upon this ?  How can we as a society redefine these terms and how they are perceived?
