It says you have to bring, I believe it's two forms of ID to register to vote. So to me, for starters, it's not even the thing. Like the thing that 83% of Americans want is for you to have to bring an ID to vote. I want that desperately. I get very angry when I go to vote and I'm not asked for an ID. I would be fine with being asked for two forms of ID. But that's not actually what the Save Act is.

1:02If I was going to push back on any of it and say, well, here's I think the answer to these objections. Let's start with that having the ID to register to vote is a huge step forward in trying to eliminate fraud. You're not wrong that you want an ID when you show up. And it is absolutely frustrating if not ridiculous that you could show up without an ID. We need to eliminate the same day registrations and a whole host of things. We need to take voting seriously. And if this allows us to go down the road, I'm all in favor of it. What I would also say I'm equally in favor of is putting Democrats on the record that they don't favor voter ID at all. So much of this conversation should be the messaging conversation. What is it that the Republicans, the conservatives, the independent, the moderate, the 83% plus of America is discussing and thinking? And what is it that these radical progressives are thinking? Put that on the menu for America to eat up and digest. I think it's outrageously, outrageously important that we do so.

I want to jump in first things first on the Save Act.

7:16And this is a big story today for a few different reasons, but let's kind of go through, let's recap a little bit here. The Save Act should be a no-brainer. I think a lot of people assume 83% of people's support voter ID what's the hold up? It passes the house, it stalls in the Senate. And then something interesting happens. This Texas primary comes into play, adds a whole new layer to this story. So you had, and I want to pull this up here for you, this tweet from the attorney general Ken Paxton who's running against Senator Corning. And on March 5th, the date of these is kind of important. He comes out with a tweet where he says, I would consider dropping out of this race if Senate leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and support abolishing passes the Save Act. John Corman is a coward who has refused to support abolishing the filibuster to pass the bill. That was March 5th.

8:16We fast forward to yesterday, March 11th, less than a week later. Suddenly Senator Corning has an op-ed in the New York Post where he's talking about the need to abolish the filibuster and fight, fight, fight, and kind of all of this tough talk. So let's break this down. I want to start with Batia. What do you make of this? Is this just a classic flip flop? Is this a brilliant move from Ken Paxton? Give me your read on the situation. OK, so I'm going to be a little bit of the useful idiot here. And I know that the Save Act is very popular on Twitter. I have two issues. The first is, it doesn't actually say you have to bring ID to vote. It says you have to bring, I believe it's two forms of ID to register to vote. So to me, for starters, it's not even the thing. The thing that 83% of Americans want

9:17is for you to have to bring an ID to vote. I want that desperately. I get very angry when I go to vote. And I am not asked for an ID. I would be fine with being asked for two forms of ID. But that's not actually what the Save Act is. So there's a little bit, I think, of a slight of hand going on there when Lisa Murkowski says she's not going to vote for it in its current form because people who would vote for Republicans would be dropped from the roles in Alaska. She's not lying. She's right about that. So to me, it's sort of like, why are we not fighting to do everything to pass the thing that is actually desired by the vast majority of even democratic voters? That's my first question. My second question is, if Thune doesn't have the votes, and abolishing the filibuster, it could be that the Democrats are going to do that anyway, and that they're going to use that in order to like grow the Supreme Court and what have you. They're going to use it in order to give Puerto Rico

10:17statehood and what have you. That's possible. But on the off chance that that's not what's going to happen, do we really want to have been the people that literally handed them an expanded Supreme Court, that literally handed them statehood for two more states they're definitely going to be democratic states. On the off chance that there are Democrats who are principled enough in a future regime to say, actually, no, I wouldn't vote for that. These are questions. It could be that the answer to both of these is, we should do it anyway, and also the Save Act is close enough to asking for ID for voting. So again, I'm saying I'm playing the useful idiot here. But to me, these are two things that are sort of legitimate objections despite the enormous pressure that you see on a platform like X. I think those are really good questions. And Tony, you look like you are ready to jump in, which I love, so go for it. If I was going to push back on any of it and say, well, here's I think the answer to these objections.

I think that your fear and your trepidation is right on

12:22because I am absolutely 10,000% there with you. It's not that Democrats are going to say, well, this is our reason and now we can now do anything. It's that Republicans don't have the logistical capability to say, OK, we're going to get rid of the filibuster for the Save Act. And now we've got these 8, 9, 10 other pieces of legislation that we are just going to knock out, get through. Democrats won't know what hit them. We've got the whip counts in the house. We know what the counter can be in the Senate. We know what Massey's going to do over here. We know what Mercowski's going to do over here. We've got Susan Collins on the fence over here. Here's how we're going to bring them in. They don't have a plan. They haven't shown you any level of a plan. For how they get other things done, if you're going to remove the filibuster, you just got to start knocking legislation out. You've got to put people in a world on the political left in a world of hurt. They can't know what happened to them. And the next thing you know, we've got for America a much better society in future. The problem is Republicans aren't Democrats. Those people know how to organize. Republicans know how to try and look good in the suit

13:23and all pretend that they're going to run for president one day. Tony, I like what you're saying about getting them on record because it's reminding me of illegal immigration, where for a long time we heard from Democrats, hey, we want the worst of the worst to be deported as well. We just want it done in a certain way. And the more as time has gone on in the Trump administration, you realize, oh no, they don't want anyone deported. Like there's no level of criminality that they think you deserve to be deported. It's a similar situation where, oh, we don't have an issue with voter integrity, but you do. It's the voter ID that's really, really throwing them off. And I want to play a cut here from Caroline Levitt because in Batia, I would like to get your take on this as a married woman. There's this argument that's being thrown out that showing identification is going to pose a problem for we've heard about minorities that the Democrats are very concerned minorities will not be able to get identification. And now we're hearing that married women are gonna have that problem. So let's play this Caroline clip if we could please.

14:24One of the biggest things the Democrats are saying that claims they're making is that the Save America Act, it would prevent married women from voting in elections or make it harder for them. What do you have to say to those claims? Is there any validity to them? And where do you think they're getting this from? There is zero validity to these claims. And I'm glad that you brought them up because you have the Democrats. You have created this myth and it has been perpetuated, unfortunately, by many in the mainstream media. Let me be very clear. The Save America Act does not prohibit anyone from voting with the exception of illegal aliens. And the greatest way to disenfranchise American citizens from voting in American elections is to allow legal aliens to vote, which is what Democrats want to do. We see it taking place in Democrat jurisdictions at the state and local level across this country. So the Save America Act corrects that. And as far as married women who have changed their name, if they're already registered to vote, they're entirely unaffected by the Save Act

15:24and for the small fraction of individuals who have changed their name or their address, they can still register to vote, of course, they just have to go through their state processes to update that documentation. Okay, let's pause it there. Batiya, what do you make of this? Is this a strong strategy from Democrats? They've seemed to have moved past the minorities can't get identification and they've moved towards the more important they can't get identification. Right, what I think is so funny is like, yeah, as if Democrat women are getting married and changing their names to their husband's names, it's hysterical, right? But I think like what's so funny to me about that is that Democrats and Republicans are both acting like you are going to be asked for an ID when you go to vote. Like both the critics and the supporters of the Save Act are pretending that it's doing something, it's not doing. And I honestly, this is a question maybe you guys know the answer. I don't understand why it's focused on registration and not on voting. Like I honestly do not understand why we're getting the fake version of the thing that we all really want.

16:25And giving the Democrats this, it's just funny. Everyone is fighting over a bill that does not say the thing that it says. We're not getting anything from the Democrats because we're not forcing them to say actually we oppose bringing an ID with you when you vote because that's not what the Save Act says. But it is the messaging that comes from it. I don't think we should deny that. Why doesn't the Save Act just say the thing we all want? You're asking why don't we just pass a one page piece of legislation? Lord, wouldn't that be glorious? You got to bring an ID and if you can't bring an ID, you're too stupid to vote anyway. Yeah, how can you not need for suit? Why aren't they pushing that? Where's that? I thought you were doing here. Let's get out in the streets. But I just I think that your argument about why aren't we asked for the voter ID at the polling place? I think people agree with that. Everybody watching agrees with you. But I do think you're giving a bit of short drift to the idea of the registration.

17:25Let's start at a place where we can reduce the possibility of fraud because all of these things are about reducing the possibility of fraud. And when the political left says we oppose anything that reduces the possibility of fraud, what they're saying is we are OK with the possibility of fraud. And as a matter of messaging, Republicans need to message that. But they are just beyond awful at this. I Republicans have always been bad at the messaging and you guys can agree or disagree as you choose. I have never seen them so unwilling to message when they've got winning arguments and polling that shows that they have willing arguments. It's a mind scramble. Yeah, and we register our cars every year. We file tax returns. It doesn't seem like this would be that difficult. But I want to throw something in because there's another piece of this that Caroline eventually gets to and Tony just hit on it. It's the fraud element. And it's the thing that we're told is not happening. We're always told it's the same with Medicaid. You know, there's no illegal aliens on Medicaid

18:26and then you've all of a sudden you're kicking all these illegal aliens off Medicaid. Wait, but you told me they weren't on there to begin with. Now we're being told that this is not about, there's no illegal aliens who are voting in our elections. But if ICE were to be at a polling place, this is a big problem for Democrats. Chuck Schumer, I think this is one of the craziest clips, Libby, I've heard in a long time. This is reminding me of Joe Biden when he talked about the big voter fraud scheme and everyone said, oh, he didn't mean that. He said something that's not what he meant. Listen to this Chuck Schumer clip and then I'll have you react. Yes, but there bill isn't voter ID number one. It is about voter registration. It makes it, it allows ICE to kick tens of billions of people off the rolls, off the rolls and they don't tell them until election day and you show up and you say, you're not registered anymore, you're not registered here, you're not on the rolls. Libby, what's he talking about? Yeah, if there are people that ICE is able to kick off

19:28the voter rolls then they shouldn't be on the voter rolls. I have to say I grew up in a no voter ID place. I always voted in a no voter ID place in New York City. I moved to West Virginia, it's voter ID. It was so easy to get my voter ID. It was like the simplest thing. There was no line I showed up, I gave them my information and if you don't have that information then you can't register to vote. If you don't have citizenship proof of citizenship you can't vote and that makes sense. All Americans should have proof of citizenship. There's no reason that they shouldn't. I mean, even Gavin Newsom's stupid claim about how he lost his passport, he lost his birth certificate at seven, yet somehow he still has a passport to go to Munich. He shows the lie right there. It's really not that hard, right? I mean, it's not that hard. And Bati made that key point about women who are voting. That's not hard either. It's just not that difficult. And I do think that Republicans are extremely poor at messaging. This is one of the key problems.

20:30You can see that the White House has tried to fix this with their Twitter account and their TikTok account and all of the rest of it. But the Democrats are so good at messaging because they're unified and they're not afraid to just make stuff up and lie. I'm thinking of the don't say gay bill. It never said that. That was totally fake. And this is just part and parcel of how they go about doing things. They scare people, they make stuff up. And then once it's out there, the New York Times reprints it, CNN repeats it, and on and on. Yeah, I was speaking of CNN. You just give me a wonderful segue here. I want to switch gears and talk about this terror attack in New York City. So we had two ISIS-inspired bomb tossers in New York City. If you were paying attention to the way CNN was framing it this week, it was more like, we had two teenagers who were going to play Frisbee in the park. And then they stumbled upon some bombs that they decided to throw. But there has been a lot of spin on this. And they threw these bombs at the protesters

21:31who were there outside of Gracie Mansion. And it seems like to me, Batia, and we can play the clips here of Abby Philip or Anna Navarro. They've all seemed to apologize for trying to mislead people on what happened here. But it's an amazing thing to me, how whether it's Mamdani or the cast and crew at CNN, there's this attempt to obscure things when it comes to any sort of radical strain of Islam or ISIS, anything you're having to do with this. No one can just say the facts. No one can say the thing that's happening. Why is that? So they're playing the exact same playbook that they ran on Kyle Rittenhouse. So if you remember with Kyle Rittenhouse, every article started with a young man crossed state lines within assault weapon to attend a Black Lives Matter rally. And the goal of that was to flip the victim and the perpetrator to make it sound like he was a white supremacist

22:33who went there to shoot Blacks. When what actually happened was he was there defending a building and shot a pedophile who tried to attack him and another man who tried to grab his gun. And they're doing the same thing here. Every article has said, you know, two explosive devices were thrown at an anti-Muslim protest outside Gracie Mansion. And the goal of that is to make you think the way a very smart friend of mine came away with the impression of that Mamdani was the victim here, that he was the target of the attack and that the anti-Muslim protesters were the perpetrators. When the truth is the exact opposite, it was Muslim terrorists defending Mamdani's religion who showed up to try to kill scores of innocent New Yorkers, right? And so they use the syntax to obfuscate and to reverse the role of victim and perpetrator. And Mamdani himself was the king of this.

23:34He gave the media the playbook that they then proceeded to use for the rest of the week. When he showed up and kept saying, you know, these white supremacists came to oppose me, oh, and also all violence is bad. But he did that again and again and again and it's so funny because the Babylon beyond Saturday had a headline, Mamdani blames New Yorkers for, you know, being, you know, for being bombed by terrorists, right? And he literally then did the thing that they predicted he was going to do. Just absolutely appalling and then watching the media in lockstep because they had already written the articles. It's clear to me that he had already written the tweets, you know, of how he was the victim of these white supremacists and then, you know, the inside scene with Khalil Mahmoud another, you know, terrorist defender, right? Like that narrative arc, he had already built it and then reality intervened in the form of like Muslim terrorists and he had to sort of find a way to plug that in without disrupting this beautiful narrative

24:34arc, right? Of like Muslim triumph. So I, and I just feel so, it's amazing because it's so obvious now, I think, I think even during the Kyle Rittenhouse thing, it was like, it wasn't like it is now to wear Abbey Philip, I honestly think she made a genuine mistake. I don't think she wrote that tease that she read. Like I, I, I'll tell you, I write my entire show. I don't write the teases and sometimes I don't see them before we go to air. Like it's just part of the business. She didn't catch it in time. She apologized and I think that that was very big of her. She did it on Twitter and then she did it again on air last night. So I, that was, I think, a genuine mistake, but there was a daily beast article that's still up, a tweet that is still up that says, you know, terrorist attack Mamdani. So I mean, you just don't hate the media enough. You think you do, but you actually don't. So, but, go ahead, tell me, I can tell you, you don't, you don't hate the media enough, but if we want to argue that it wasn't Abby Philip's fault, I can point to 9,000 things that are her fault on the struggle session that is her show.

25:35CNN has now become the correction news network and every correction comes because they want to sell the story. If we're going to believe you and I do, I'm a, I'm a proponent of this theory about you that it is all narrative all the time, that it is all narrative all the time. And if Abby Philip doesn't write the T's, I'll concede the point, but it doesn't mean that the T's was in written for a hundred percent. That's the story, that's the everything. When I talk about messaging about the Save Act, it's they're putting out a narrative, where's the counter narrative, where's the counter push? The last time the administration tried it, was saying of Renee Good that she was a domestic terrorist. It didn't work, right? Because you have a story there and a video there that tells a story about a woman who clearly didn't listen to immigrations and customs enforcement. Clearly was okay with disobeying. Clearly was okay with trying to hurt them, but you don't have the argument of domestic terrorism. You have it here in New York clearly and directly

26:36and it's incredible that you have multiple instances from CNN where they made this mistake. Multiple corrections, the correction news network. That took place and the only answer is it is purposeful. The idea you don't hate the media enough, holy cow, thank goodness I only get my news from my radio show, Your Television Show and the First. That's it, oh, Post-Moladio, fantastic work and Grace Curley, okay, I've caught everybody. I just wanna say one more very quick. I mean, I just, okay, go ahead. Briefly, I also wonder how much of this is AI. When I read the Daily Beast article, I was like, I bet you 90% of this was written by AI. I think a lot of news right now, especially on the left is being written by chat bots. Well, I feel safe. And I think that they are imbibing, if they put in in the style of CNN, in the style of the Daily Beast, the chat bot is gonna generate that exact messaging that we think is so disgusting and deplorable.

27:37I don't have evidence to back this up, except that I know that a lot of media and a lot of journalists, especially at the entry level, which is where you get the tweets that the CNN had to take down. I do know that there's a lot being used there, but I don't have confirmation specifically on CNN or on Daily Beast or what have you. But I haven't seen anyone mention this and I do wonder how much of that is, we're gonna see more and more of that and it's gonna become even more obvious. Sorry, Libby, go ahead. Yeah, no, I mean, I think that you're probably right. I think there is a lot of AI and the more falsehoods are generated using AI, the more falsehoods are sourced by AI and then spit out again. I mean, it's really a vicious cycle. But in terms of Abby Phillips, she didn't correct Anna Navarro when Anna Navarro said the same lie on her show. And I don't think that this was unintentional. I think that whoever wrote the T's wanted to use the same messaging as the mayor, they probably voted for him and they think that he's just the bee's needs, you know? And we can see him sitting on his Persian rugs and Gracie Mansion the other day. I found that really, you know,

28:38a little bit appropriating of Gracie Mansion, turning it into, you know, whatever kind of thing you do where you sit down when you do governance instead of sitting at a table like a normal person, you know, like some American westerner like we do. But I think that it was entirely intentional when Mamdani came out, what was it on the eighth and started talking about white supremacy and Islamophobia and tapping into Muslim New Yorkers, what like a million Muslim New Yorkers saying, we all know what Islamophobia is like. I lived in a very Muslim neighborhood when I was in Brooklyn. I lived there for like 12 years or something like that, you know, aside from other places I've lived, there was zero Islamophobia where I lived. It was a very Muslim neighborhood. There were anti-Israel protests on the weekend that happened frequently. It happened like a couple of times a month was a Chinese neighborhood, Central American Muslim neighborhood with some old Italians and Greeks mixed in for good measure. There's not a lot of Islamophobia in this city. In fact, there's people bending over backwards.

29:41The city has bent over backwards for years to accommodate people who speak hundreds of different languages. There's Arabic in the MTA machines. All of this is there. There's Arabic in the schools. And I think it's just entirely fictitious and made up. It's a lie. There's not Islamophobia here. In fact, the push against Islamophobia was after 9-11 when everyone was like, oh, the real victims here are the Muslims who are going to be attacked verbally and rhetorically because of 9-11. And it's just not there, totally. It's the Nordmic Donald tweet, you know, the tweet about how, oh, the thing I worry about is if there was a giant terrorist attack, there would be so much backlash against Islam. And that's really becoming, it's a joke, but it's become over the years such a reality in the way that these things are covered. And when you watch that CNN panel, Lydia Moynihan, was actually trying to make a point and the same thing came up where you could tell Abbey Philip was trying to scare her with, you know,

30:42are you being Islamophobic? And it stifles conversations and legitimate conversations because people are so afraid of saying the wrong thing and being cast as some sort of Islamophob. I want to switch here to a story that started, I think two days ago, it really started to gain some traction yesterday. Came from TMZ of all places, actually. This story of lobster gate. I know you are all going to have strong opinions on this. I have no opinion on lobster. Lobster gate has taken over. TMZ has this big story, this big scoop. I don't know if they're trying to get more political lately, maybe clearly, but they are accusing Secretary Heggs of spending billions of dollars on lobster and crab legs and donuts. And if you read the actual headline, we can put up the headline here. You would have thought the way I read it was like,

31:42he ordered this at a restaurant. He ordered all these donuts and this ice cream machine and he steaks and then he took a couple bites and he left. And then the actual story comes out and we have a video of the troops here eating this dinner that this is what the money was spent on. Let's play this video. Yeah, and I saw actually yesterday the Katie Pavlich had said a lot of people who are outraged that our troops are eating steak and lobster. They don't realize that that's the sign something big is happening is that they have all this steak and lobster for the troops that there's something imminent. I thought that was interesting I didn't know I didn't realize that. But but yet are you upset about this money that and they're describing it as being blown on lobsters and crab and everything else for our military?

And they're out there risking life and limb to protect us and our democracy and our freedoms. And the lips are begrudging them, you know,

33:44a nice lobster dinner, it's disgusting. It is disgusting. You know, people who could afford to eat lobster every night of the year are begrudging these guys who get paid $40,000 a year, risking their lives to protect our freedoms. It is disgusting. You know, the great lobster hoax of 2026, you know, that wasn't. And it was really appalling because it's the closest. It's just anti-patriotic. It's anti-true. Like it's everything wrapped into one from the most privileged people on the planet, you know? I'm so grossed out by this. But Batia, you talk so much and you've written before about class and elitism and how the Democrats have kind of lost a lot of ground in that fight. I think when they were going after this, Tony, I think they thought they were slamming Republicans and creating a class issue that was gonna work for them to say, look at them eating lobster and crab

34:46and all these things. And the reality is what a lot of Americans read this as I think. And when I saw a lot on social media, which isn't everything, but it's something, was you guys don't have a problem spending billions of dollars on other countries, on Sesame Street in Iraq, on hamsters, getting gender affirming care or whatever it is. And yet, when it comes to this, this is where you start pulling the purse strings, give me a reaction, Tony. Part of the problem. And again, Paul Begala, CNN, the correction news network, I swear to you, I'm gonna make that stick. All the kids are gonna be saying it. It's gonna be the new 6.7. It's coming your way. Get ready now. The problem is that Republicans have lost all fight. I feel like I'm a little bit of a broken record. But I wanna, I don't know how many more things we can pick up on. That is pure madness. This is botches talking. What is you're talking about Grace? And then say, what happened from that moment? It should be ads 24.7.

35:48It should be Republicans on social media and everywhere else saying, what is wrong with these people? Of course, it's not Democrats eating steak and lobster. It's way too manly, there's meat and somebody had to go fishing for this. It doesn't get wrapped in tofu. They're never going to eat these things. And it should be a conversation about strength versus weakness. It should be a conversation about who takes care of the troops and who, like Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, like Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, is disparaging the troops by saying, we're failing in Iran, we can't do this. It's a disaster going in the Middle East. We always fail going into the Middle East. And there is none of it. I am not interested in Speaker Johnson. And I do say this in a very angry tone and I apologize for it. I don't wanna see Speaker Johnson being kind in front of a microphone as long as he looks good in his suit. I don't wanna see Senator John Thune being kind. I hope Democrats will do the right thing and fund the Department of Homeland Security. I hope they'll get the message.

36:49Stop being so kind. They're gonna get kids killed. The blood's on their hands. Where are you to say so? Where are Republicans to go to every airport in America? Where the lines are four hours. You gotta wait four hours. Get their four hours early before getting on a flight and apologize to the flyers, to the American people. Democrats won't fund the Department of Homeland Security. You have to wait. I'm so very sorry. Can we get you a bottle of water? Can we get you something to eat? Can we get you something for the kids? And be the people really connected. They aren't fighting on these very obvious things. This hatred for the troops. That's what this story is regarding Paul Begalla and the whole lobster gate. It is a hatred for the troops. It is a hatred for wanting to take care of them. It's this idea. This continued premises being discussed about who the Aleta star, we know who the Aleta star. Why not go out and say so and give America a better version or actually the proper version of what's actually happening? Libby, do you think the Republicans in this case need to be more on the offensive

37:50and not just defending what Pete Higgs have did but making the case as Tony said? I wonder how much of this really permeates with the American people. I mean, most people out there in the rest of the country know that on the eve of battle and these kinds of things, troops get special treatment. Just like troops should pretty much always get special treatment. So I wonder if this is just a media concocted correction news network kind of thing as opposed to something that really, this kind of messaging really matters to Americans. I know that when I saw it and I have absolutely no family in the military, I have no military tradition in my family whatsoever. And I saw just a slitter on Twitter of this nonsense about troops are getting Stagen Lobster and I was like, oh yeah, because they're going off to war. I knew that and I don't know anything about the military really. I also know that when I've traveled with the Secretary of War, when I've traveled with Pete Higgs at this part of the press team, he eats the same stuff as the rest of us.

38:51He eats the same overcooked omelets as the press sitting there on the plane. So I had absolutely no doubt that this was completely manufactured nonsense. And I'm glad to see that it has sort of drifted away. I don't think it's going to stick. I do think Republicans need to come out there with some better messaging. It seems like that people are in the administration completely overwhelmed with the enormity of the news cycle. They've got war. They've got midterms. They've got Trump pulling another senator from the majority. That's never been easy in the past year or so. And they've got all these things happening. There's talk about gas prices. There's the strategic petroleum reserve depletion, which has been talked about. And that's something that when it was the Biden administration and he tapped it out by half or something, we were all up in arms about it. And when Trump was campaigning, he said, he's going to refill the reserves. So that's something that I look at that. And I'm like, I liked it better in your first term when we had when it was super top-dawks and it was rolling over the top or whatever it is.

39:51That's my visual for it. But that's something. And I think that they can't tackle everything. They're already pressed to tackle so much. And when you have media lying about lobster versus media lying about Islamophobia, I think to tackle the Islamophobia before the lobster. Yeah, priorities, I like that. I want to talk a little bit about some book news for you. We're switching gears here again. Jill Biden has, she's writing another book. And I just, I have to say this. It's the view from the East Wing, which I wasn't very impressed by the title. Thought we could have come up with something a little sexier. But that's what she decided to go with. It's a picture of her on the front. She's going to talk about her time in the White House. She's not going to give us, I don't think, the real dirt, which was like, I was the one forcing him to go out there every day. But my question, I want to start with this. How many Biden books is enough? Like Vatia, at a certain point, I get these publishers. They just go, okay, yeah, we'll give you a million.

40:52We'll give you two million for this book, whatever. But if I'm a publisher and the grift mobile comes rolling up again with all these Biden's and they have another book to sell me, I would be like, we're good. We're going to give somebody else a chance. No one's buying these books. What's your reaction? I am pretty sure this one is going to have some dirt on Kamala Harris in it. The Biden's are pissed at her. She did them dirty in her book. And I don't see a publisher giving Jill Biden a million dollars if she didn't have some goods that she was willing to drop. So I bet this one is spicy. They're very upset. And they feel that they were betrayed after having done Harris this big favor of choosing her and so forth. So I bet this one's going to be spicy. That's what I'm hoping anyway. Oh my gosh, a woman's scorned. What are you going to get that? I would be, I know that's something I would read. I can't believe that I'm going to say the three of you are degrading women like this. I find it so personally offensive.

41:53First, if anybody thinks Jill Biden wrote this book, let's go back to the AI conversation. I don't think Jill Biden wrote this book. I'm more impressed with the title. What is it, View from the East Wing? Yes. I thought it was going to be Jill Biden, how I passed the sniff test. So I for one, M, M, M, oh, please, nothing, you know what? Shame on all of you. That is a glorious joke. And I'm taking it with me to the back. The people laughed. The viewers laughed. And that's all I really care about. Livy, would you read this book? And do you agree with botian? Do you think we're going to get some scoop here? Yeah, I mean, I would read it if there was a little scoop. Or you know what I would do? I would read these screenshots of the scoops on Twitter. That's as far as I would go. I would probably not read the book. I have no intention of buying this book. Gavin Newsom's book was boring. Kamala Harris's book was stupid. And of course, no. These people aren't writing their own books. And if anything, the ghost writers are probably using AI as well, so that they can pocket their fee and not really have to do very much.

42:53I bet that's what's happening. But yeah, I think also the Biden's, they love selling these books. And it's not about people buying the books, right? It's about big organizations buying keeps and bots as a book so that it can hit a New York Times bestseller and look like everyone's interested when really absolutely no one is interested. These book deals from first ladies and former presidents are kind of like kickbacks. Yeah, I think that's pretty accurate. And speaking of that, we had Kamala Harris. She recently, this was kind of a weird story. She had, she's on this book tour still for her book 107 Days. And she canceled these stops in California. Because I think she was under some fire for her security or how it was being paid for. But beyond that, the part of it that I'm perplexed by is like, who is attending a Kamala Harris book tour stop? I get that it's California, but I just, I can't imagine being the person to say, all right, I want a ticket for this.

43:54Let me show up and sit down and watch Kamala Harris. Do you think it's more about that there's a scandal here in Latia with how she's paying for her security and how this is being funded? Or is it more so there was no asses to put in the seats? Well, she's still very popular with black voters and with black women especially for whom she represents a level of achievement, especially in the kind of more elite college educated sorority, like kind of black demographic, I would say. She's still polling, I think either in many polls way ahead of everybody else and then in others like just below Gavin Newsom. So I think for Republicans to kind of write her off without being able to understand what she represents to Democrats, especially very important demographics to the Democratic vote is a bit of a mistake. You know, she's not my cup of tea, obviously. But I think a lot of Democrats do believe what she believes, which is that if she had been given longer,

44:55she would have been able to do better in the election. So, you know, the question is how many of the swing voters believe that, how many of the people that, you know, a Vance or Rubio would need in 2028 believe that? Will she be the nominee probably not? But I think that we should not make the mistake that the left makes, which is just to be like, anybody who likes the things I don't like, I can't, you know, it's unthinkable to me, it's unimaginable to me, like this person is a laughing stock in there for their laughing stock to everybody, like we should try to understand where the opposition is coming from, not only because, you know, I'm as religious people, it's good to have empathy, but also because like, you know, it's good politically to understand them, especially for the persuadables among them. But she is a laughing stock to the left. The polling could show the polling, I think, from now until the end of time, cultists are gonna cult, all right? So they're gonna put bucks in the seats and everything else. She was super popular when she was running in the primary until she didn't make it to Iowa. She was the most popular vice president ever

45:56in the joy and the vibes until you realize Barack Obama had to beg black men to vote for them, vote for her, and then call them sexist if they didn't. I'm not a buyer on this one. The idea that somehow she is popular, she might be aspirational to some gender studies degree having set. I think that's possible. But the idea that the Democratic Party wants her because some polling says so now, not a buyer, not a chance, when the moment comes, there won't be anybody to show up for her. Keep me to judge, we'll get more black votes than Kamala Harris gets total votes. No, let's not get crazy. You think the white guys for Harris aren't gonna go for round two? But you know what's crazy is like what Tony's saying, or I guess what Bati was saying, it's important, I have an easier time understanding the appeal of Kamala Harris. If I'm being genuine, I could wrap my head around that more so than Gavin Newsom. Me too, me too.

46:57Because when I look at Gavin Newsom, they're both so slimy. How he is truly on a level of his own. I'm totally, totally with you. She is like, like I said, she's not my cup of tea. I don't think she's incredibly bright. I think that she really doesn't like making hard decisions. And I think she's probably gotten very far just by kind of reflecting what the people doing, she's very, she does a lot of mirroring. So whatever somebody's saying to her, she says it back to them. But I don't get the slime factor from her that I get from Newsom. Like I find him almost just so difficult to listen to and to look at and very hard to understand what anybody sees in him as like a redeeming quality. Like I don't see him as having any values whatsoever except this like unbelievable sense that he deserves everything. Because he's always been handed everything. And to me, that is my, that's a fructa night to me. Like that kind of like elitist self love

47:58that is like born not of any kind of actual virtues but born just of the fact that like, you know, you were given immense privileges and can't even acknowledge it. Yeah, he's like a shapeshifter. Even the way that he crosses his legs and he sits on stage, the way that he uses his hands. You know, he's like, he's like one of those snakes coming out of the genie bottle or whatever, the like Indian snake jar and everything. That's kind of what he's like. And the more he pushes his, you know, sad story of having a single mom and a super rich dad who was running for senate and all of this stuff, you're just like, you are the worst poser of all time. And the thing that really kicks, you know, that really I think makes me want to kick him in the teeth. I'm sorry for saying that. But the thing is that remember he had Charlie Kirk on his podcast and he was talking to Charlie Kirk and they had like this great conversation. And Charlie was super open and, you know, excited to be there and so excited to try and reach out to the other side and find some common ground. They talked about women sports.

48:58They talked about trans and women sports. And Newsom was like, yeah, that's not your right. That's not fair. And my son is a fan of yours also. And then after Charlie died, he's back on this, you know, men should be in women's sports. And no, I never said my son was a fan of Charlie Kirk. Like screw you Gavin Newsom, you little slimy liar with your terrible hair and the hair gel like dripping down your face, you know, and his stupid wife with her like, I'm the first partner, shut up. No, I totally agree. Okay, but guys, we have to go to winners and losers. I'm very excited about this. We're gonna go around the horn. Batiel, let's start with you. Give us who's your winner of the week? My winner is Marco Rubio who pulled ahead of JD bands for the first time on CalShi. CalShi doesn't mean anything. It's ridiculous. Pulling doesn't mean anything this early. But to me, that really reflects a vibe that I'm getting and sort of a sense of where the vibes are going. I've been saying this for a year now and everybody laughed me out of the room. So I feel a little vindicated. So I think Marco Rubio, winner of the week. I guess Trump's doing a lot of applause tests at Mar-a-Lago

49:59with like Marco and JD, you know, who gave, you know, clap louder for which one you like more. All right, Tony Katz, who's your winner? That would be weirdly enough social media because it was the pressure from Twitter X that got the correction news network to get Abby Philip to make that correction. Others would see an end to make that correction. They're going to do it to Paul Begala. It was the pressure there and it's rare to say that social media did a good thing, but nicely done. Very, very good. Libby, who's your winner of the week? I would say Jessica Tish, New York City Police Commissioner. She came out, she gave it to everybody straight. She didn't fall into this white supremacy narrative. She was just pretty clear about exactly what went on and then when the charges were about to be released, she said, you know, this is going to come out this afternoon. I'm not going to speculate. And she didn't, and I think she's a straight shooter. And I always appreciate when she shows up because you know that you're just going to get what's going on, you know, you're going to get what's the truth and not a perspective. My winner is NYPD Hero Chief Aaron and Edwards, what a stud jumping over those barricades,

51:03what an iconic photo running towards the ISIS inspired bombers. Just abs two thumbs up, two thumbs up for Chief Aaron Edwards. All right, losers, Vatia, take it away. Who's your loser of the week? My loser of the week is Zorn Mamdani. I think it's just totally appalling what he did, smearing the victims of a would-be terrorist attack, just, you know, beneath contempt. And then the media firestorm that he ignited and the permission he gave them to lie on this is just despicable. Awesome, who do we got, Tony? It is the gripper class because that same social media has been knocking these guys around for their anti-Israel anti-Semitic nonsense for the influencers, so-called influencers that they support. It's the first real pushback I've seen on this and I think that it is gaining traction and I only hope so. Libby, who's your loser? The UN Commission on the Status of Women is definitely my loser of the week.

52:03They've been pushing gender nonsense and abortion for years and this year the United States said, no, we're not going to vote with these conclusions. We're going to, you know, vote no against all of this. That led a number of other member states to abstain from voting. They did not, you know, vote against, but they abstain. And so I think the UN Commission on the Status of Women is a little bit in question now when they can't get abortion and gender equity, meaning trans, et cetera, out the gate. All right, my loser, and this is so niche, but Rosanna Arquette, who was in pulp fiction, I guess. I don't even remember who she wasn't it, complaining about her role, saying, well, you know, the movie used the slurs a lot and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. All these years later, Quentin Tarantino came out and said, you took the check, you didn't mind taking the job at the time and now you're coming out bitching and moaning. He was a lot more eloquent than that, but I think that's loser behavior and we need to stop pretending these movies are real life. They're fake, you were a character.
