Just because you've covered the NBA for 30 plus years, it does not give you the right to say whatever you want to say. I'm exposing this fraud. We're going to break down all of these latest reports today. This episode is presented by FanDuel. We have a goal of trying to reach 40,000 subscribers, and we could really use your support. If you enjoy daily Nick's content, please hit that subscribe button. And now, let's get started. Steven A Smith has crossed the line. This situation between Steven A Smith and Josh Hart has gotten completely out of hand. This entire situation started because Josh Hart was defending his teammate in Michele Bridges. You know what any other NBA player would do. And in the process, he checks Steven A Smith and he called them a part-time Nick's fan.

The truth hurts, and it was that comment right there that made Steven A Smith so emotional, so sensitive that he clapped back at Josh Hart and he gave him the following response. According to Steven A Smith, he stated the following, first of all, you don't get to call me a part-time Nick's fan. When I've been a Nick's fan before you were born, you've been on this earth for 31 years. I'm 58. I've been a New York Nick's fan all my life. Native New Yorker, you didn't start off as a New York Nick. You were playing at Villanova after that. You were with the Lakers. You were with the New Orleans Pelicans. You were with the Portland Trailblazers. All before you came to the Knicks. What does that comment have to do with anything? What does how long Josh Hart has been on this earth have to do with him calling you out for being a part-time Nick's fan?

Just because you've been on this planet for 58 years and you claim the Knicks and I want to make that clear. You claim to be a Nick's fan. It doesn't take away what Josh Hart said. Are you still forgetting who plays for the Knicks? Are you still mispronouncing names? If all of that is true, then what Josh Hart said is completely valid. It does not matter how long you've been on this planet and how long you've watched the Knicks for. Because clearly in the modern age, the modern Nick fan, they don't rock with you. Why? Because they know who you are. You're a sensitive person, a sensitive fan. You do not watch this team. But you claim to be a fan. And every single time you can bash the Knicks, you're bashing the Knicks for no good reason. That makes you a Nick fan. And by the way, what's the Josh Hart having to play at Villanova with the Lakers, with the Pelicans, with the Portland Trailblazers have anything to do with his comments?

Right now he's a Nick. Right now he's listening to you. And right now he can say very clearly that you're not acting like a Nick fan. You're acting like a part-time fan. Like I said before, the truth hurts. Now that comment from Stephen A Smith, it didn't make sense. But it didn't cross the line. This following comment absolutely did. Shout out to Steph Bondy with the New York Post for giving us this following information. Stephen A Smith, as he continues to respond to Josh Hart. Here's what he had to say. First of all, you don't know who I know. Second of all, you don't know who talks to me. Thirdly, you don't even know how close I am to the people that put your checks. What? What did you just say? Out of hand. Completely unacceptable. You're going after this man's pockets.

After his check. Once I saw that response, I gave my own response on X. And this is what I had to say. Disgusting work here from Stephen A Smith. You tell a man to shut up and be quiet and expect no response. And then when he gives you that response, you proceed to attack him more by saying the following. You don't even know how close I am to the people that cuts your checks. What does that mean? You can control whether Josh Hart plays for the nicks or not. After attacking the president of basketball operations year after year. I'm sure your connections to the team have run dry. But let's reset here. You attack Josh Hart's teammate. He responds as a teammate should. And then you continue to foolishly attack him. What sense does that make? As you can expect. After Stephen A Smith made all of those comments.

A number of people were upset with him. Not only me. He received a ton of backlash for all of those comments. And because of that, he tried to save face and he put out the following response. According to Stephen A Smith, he states the following. Please listen to the entire comment. I said nothing disrespectful at all towards Josh Hart. Who I have mad respect for. Don't take one comment and think that's all that was said. It wasn't I was very complimentary of him. Thanks. Am I living in crazy land? Are we joking here? You didn't say anything disrespectful to Josh Hart. Hold on. Let's rewind and take a look at exactly what you said. What was that third point? You don't even know how close I am to the people that cut your checks.

That's not disrespectful. You're talking about this man's pockets. About this man's money. That's not disrespectful to you. What if anybody else in the entire league in the NBA. Maybe other NBA insiders started to talk about you. Your platform and your check. Who they knew that cuts your check. That's not disrespectful. You see? This is what Stephen A Smith does. He jumped. Here's a shift worth noting. Better health care is care that meets patients where they are. United health group is bringing it directly to living rooms. This is a win for patients managing chronic conditions. And here's the interesting thing. By closing those care gaps, administering in-home exams and identifying risks earlier, more diseases can be prevented and patient outcomes can improve. In 2025 alone, United health group patients received over 19 million home visits. Learn more at unitedhealthgroup.com slash commitment.

It's back and forth just like with his fandom. He jumps back and forth. Sometimes he wants to be a Nick fan. Other times he's calling Miles McBride, Michael McBride. I mean, what are we talking about here? What are you saying here? You're a fraud and you just got caught. You don't like to be under the spotlight. But you know what? You say so many things that gets you that spotlight. Well, you know what? You got what you wanted. You wanted everybody to talk about you, this situation and nothing about the Nick's. Look at this situation right now.

Is it helping New York? Is it benefiting the Nick's? Nope. It's not doing any of that. What is it doing? It's giving you ratings. It's benefiting you. And you're being benefited by trashing this Nick's team. And you see, that's the problem I have with you on top of so many other problems. This right here, it's terrible. It's horrible. You bash New York because let's face it. You can control anything you say. At this point, ESPN, it's basically your platform. You're going to get fired. You're the figurehead of ESPN. You're not getting fired anytime soon. You're going to continue to make money. And you're going to do it by bashing a team that you said you're a fan of. That you said you've been on this planet for 58 years. And you're supporting the Nick's.

Maybe you used to support the Nick's. But right now, you're emotional. You're sensitive. And you're not supporting this team. You're bashing this team. You're bashing players who actively play for this team. You're disrespecting them. You're going after their money. You want to sit here and tell me you're a Nick fan. You're not a Nick fan. You're an NBA fan. You're a Laker fan trying to pretend you're a Nick fan. And that's disrespectful to me. It's disrespectful to all the real Nick fans. Disrespectful to New York. You don't get to make those comments and then walk it back. No, no, no, it doesn't happen. You're a fraud. And now everybody in the NBA. Everybody in the league. Everyone around the world. They know exactly what I know. You're not a Nick fan.

You just pretend to be. And shout out to channel sponsor fan duel. America's number one sports book. For giving us this updated information. And these latest odds on who's going to win the game tomorrow night between the nicks and the thunder. And as you can see there by the money line. Okay, see is the favorites to win this game against the nicks. They're at minus three seventy five. While New York is at plus three hundred. Now as a Nick fan, I know this game is going to be tough. I know. Okay, see is one of the best teams in the league. And I know New York will do whatever it takes to be competitive. Stay in this game and look to win this game. But it will be difficult. But you see, I can say it. And I can say it like that. And all of you guys understand what I'm saying. And you know, you believe it. And you believe in this team. That's being a fan.

No matter what the odds are. You can criticize this team. But you can still believe in them. Like I do. Like many of you do. Steven A Smith doesn't do that. He fools you into thinking. That's what he does. But he doesn't do that. He screams. Orange and blue skies. Orange and blue skies. Yeah. Orange and blue skies, right? When Spike Lee is in studio. Or other Nick fans are in studio. Or the nicks are winning, right? But when they're not winning. When they're doing something that you don't like. When you're being checked. Because you should be checked. What is it? You run away from orange and blue skies. And you know what you do. You start praising the Miami Heat. The Lakers, their cities, their teams, their weather. Okay. You can do that. But I hope you understand that when you do that.

Everybody understands exactly the type of fan you are. You jump on the bandwagon when things are good. But when things are rocky. Not so great. Everything is falling off as you're getting to the goal line. As you're getting to your path. Some of us, we stay on. We continue to ride it out no matter what. Other people like you. They jump off until we're back on the good side again. And then you want to jump back on. No, that's done. It's over. Those bandwagon fans. They are no longer allowed access on this ride that goes all the way to the NBA finals. This ride. It's reserved for the real ones. The ones that have been riding with this team for so many years. Good years and bad years. During this season. All the ups and the downs right now.

These are the fans that are part of this bandwagon. These are the fans riding along right now. And unfortunately for Steven a Smith. We don't have any more room for fair weather fans. And that's exactly what you are. You're not a Nick Finn. You're a fake Finn. And everybody knows it now. You have just been exposed. As the fraud that you are. But what about you guys? What do you think about Steven a Smith. And all of his nonsensical comments. Let me know how you feel about that. In the comment section below guys because honestly. I would love to hear from you. But that's going to do it for this episode. I hope you enjoyed it. And if you did, go ahead and smash that like button. Leave a comment below. And of course guys, please subscribe to the channel. Until next time Nick fans.
