Sara Cox Takes Over BBC Radio Two Breakfast Show

0:00On April 24th, BBC Radio 2 is shaking up their breakfast show lineup. Sarah Cox, the 51-year-old DJ, steps in to replace Scott Mills this summer. Cox now owns the T-time slot from 4pm to 7pm on the station. Mills left last month amid fallout from a 2016 police probe into old allegations. That investigation looked at claims of serious sexual offenses with a teenage boy from 1997 to 2000. No charges ever came, but it hit writers he got pulled off air. Gary Davies has been holding down breakfast duties in the meantime. Mills joined Radio 2 from Radio 1 back in 2011 and took T-time in 2018.
