Sandisk Falls, Datadog Tumbles, Honeywell Aerospace Plunges

Stock Movers

About this episode

Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:

- Sandisk (SNDK)’s high flying stock tumbled back to Earth last month. And after earnings, its stock continued to trade lower. The computer hardware company’s revenue forecast for the first quarter missed the average analyst estimate. Analysts note that the current quarter outlook was soft but they are positive about the business transitioning to a more durable operation.

- Datadog (DDOG) is falling after the software company posted an adjusted gross margin for the second quarter that trailed the average analyst estimate.

- Honeywell Aerospace (HONA) shares plunged after an unexpected reduction in its outlook startled investors just weeks after the supplier began operating as an independent company. Supply chain issues will keep sales growth to 4-5% this year on an organic basis, roughly half of its prior forecast. Honeywell Aerospace also now says adjusted earnings before interest and taxes may not increase at all this year on a pro forma basis; it previously saw as much as 10% growth.
