Samuel's Top Contenders: Patriots, 49ers, Chiefs, Broncos

The New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Denver Broncos could all use his skills as a 30-year-old playmaker. Samuel put up solid numbers last season with the Washington commanders, catching 72 passes for 727 yards on four. Touchdowns over 16 games. He's lost some of his top speed from his all-pro days in 2021, but he remains a reliable option. Both the Patriots and 49ers have already added to their receiver groups this off-season, signing Romeo d'Albs and Mike Evans respectively. Even so, Samuel could slide in nicely as a number two target for either squad. A return to San Francisco feels like a natural fit, given his history there as a dynamic star. In Kansas City, Andy Reed can maximize his talents, while Sean Payton and Denver might turn him into an instant starter despite their deeper rooms.
